All the latest Fox releases are UV & iTunes. I think the report by Jeff Kliest was wrong because I have yet to see one that was UV only.

Fox is still releasing iTunes on most of thier releases though. It's not uv only yet. Particular major releases are both. The Wolverine and the last Percy Jackson are examples.

Yes. Fox seems crazy with their choices, but the fact is they are not full UV yet. Carrie also only shows as MGM on the packaging. Doesn't say fox anywhere on it. The 20th Century Fox releases I have gotten still have Itunes. Maybe MGM/Fox releases (like Carrie) are UV only, 20th Century Fox (Percy and The Wolverine) and Relativity/Fox (The Family) are still Itunes/UV. They don't seem to want to make it easy to figure out. But they are definitely not 100% UV (yet?).

To me is seems odd there is any debate about it with the recent major releases still carrying itunes on them.

Table updated to equal fox @ combo status, contrary to the Jeff Kliest report, but reflective of recent releases.

I'm not disagreeing with your statement but since it is an mgm release and its not in the table. I was hoping it would be added.

Re: Digital Copy Redemption Index: by studio

The numbers of minor studios putting out titles is daunting. I limited the number of minor studios to just a sample.

I am aware there are many others, but I am hopeful we can agree that tracking them all would be more work then would be worth it. Relitivity is a larger minor as well as some of the others. A comprehensive list would be unmanageable, IMHO.

                        I concur with Lionsgate.

MGM is a bit tricky right now. They've only had 3 UV releases so far. 2 were UV/Itunes (Skyfall and Red Dawn) and 1 was UV only (Carrie). They are also being distributed through Fox (even though Fox is not mentioned on the packaging) and as we've seen Fox is just crazy with their UV only and UV/Itunes releases. Some have only one and some have both. Are there any MGM movies coming out soon? I'd say if the next one is Itunes-free then they probably are UV only (barring any Fox oddness).

Skyfall was not an MGM production. It was the first Bond movie to be produced without them.

Lionsgate row updated on table. thx.

Yes, but it's released through MGM. Packaging, vudu and iTunes all say MGM. It's an MGM uv code as far as I'm concerned. People made a big deal about it when it was released because it was the first MGM uv title. There was hope catalog titles would follow but nope.

I think it is almost time to finally move Fox to the UV only category. I just checked out their latest releases, The Counselor, Enough Said, and Carrie, and all three are UV only according to the packaging.

Also, the MarketShare should be updated.
