    Re: Newly Added Catalog Titles

Just noticed that Stop Making Sense (1984), Talking Heads concert film directed by Jonathan Demme is available to own. This is for my money the best concert film ever made (with respect to The Last Waltz).

Yes, I agree, this thread is important. Keep the postings of new movies coming people!

Yes, I posted Mrs. Doubtfire a couple weeks ago. Another title that has been on our wishlist for a while.

We already own Little Giants...it's UV. So maybe this is a title that has been unavailable for a while and now it's coming back for purchasing.

                  Re: Newly Added Catalog Titles

These were added several weeks back, but I just discovered this thread.

2 Universal comedies not on Blu-ray:

                  The Money Pit
                  Pure Luck

                    Badlands (1973) Own in SD
It sucks when there is a Bluray available for a title and it's not HDX worthy.

Indeed !! Gremlins 2, Superman IV, Superman II: The Donner Cut, Karate Kid, and Police Academy are all victims of this

I finally got tired of waiting for the Superman IV movie in HD or HDX so I bought the HD version from AIV for $6.99

...some actual really good movies too, like The Abyss, The Friends of Eddie Coyle, The Devil's Backbone, Jeremiah Johnson, The Goodbye Girl, Mackintosh Man, La Femme Nikita, Papillion, Modern Romance, The Last Detail, Clay Pigeons, The Time Machine, The Absence of Malice, My Favorite Year, City of Lost Children, And Justice for All, Guilty By Suspicion...the list goes on, but you get the point

edit: I guess some of those may not have Blu-Ray releases, but that is not true of all of them. The point is that Vudu needs to get as many HDX versions of their SD only catalog titles as possible.

I'm actually glad to see that The Color Purple won't suffer this fate after initially only showing SD for release on July 1st.

                            Jeremiah Johnson isn't new.

I don't know about The Abyss, And Justice For All, and The Time Machine, but they are also available for D2D. There may be others that are available for D2D, but these are the only ones I was interested in so I didn't check for any others.
