        I encountered this problem last week at this store:

        I've successfully converted about 200 movies at home, but I have another 40-50 discs that should be eligible but won't go through on my home computer. As directed, I brought them to my nearest Walmart, but no one there knows how to operate their "new system." An employee named Cindy tried to convert my movies, got an error message, emailed "the tech department" for assistance, but after a week had gotten no response. She apologized and told me there "was nothing else she could do." That's the only Walmart in an 80-mile radius from my home, so it's the only option for me.

        Given the amount of time and money I've invested in converting (most of) my collection to Vudu, I sure hope someone here can help.

              I tried my store again today, still no joy:

              Went to the Photo desk. After searching for the book for 20 minutes, they were able to get to the Vudu site, but could not sign in. The Store, Associate ID, and Password were in the book, but they couldn't get it to work.

              I spoke with Keith the Zone Manager, who was in the store today. He tried it too, then called someone. He told me store D2D no longer works. and they should remove the advertising. He promised to "get into it" as he was not aware it was not working. He was not willing to call Field Support, as it would take hours to reach a human today.

                    On January 5, 2015, I went to two Wal-Marts in Springfield, Illinois to try and do disc-to-digital that both failed.

                    The first Wal-Mart that I went to was:

                    Store #3602
                    Springfield Walmart Supercenter
                    1100 Lejune Dr
                    Springfield, IL 62703

                    While the Wal-Mart employee at this first location working the Photolab Center was very kind and had helped me before in purchasing a camera last summer, she apologized and told me she didn't know how to do the VUDU Disc-to-Digital conversion when I brought in my discs with my printed out list. She said it had been more than a year since they've done this and that I'd have to try another Wal-Mart.

                    I went to a second store afterwards at:

                    Store #3210
                    Springfield Walmart Supercenter
                    2760 No. Dirksen Pkwy
                    Springfield, IL 62702

                    I was at the Photolab for about one hour as the Photolab Center person and an Electronics Shift Manager both worked together for an hour trying to get my list "pushed through" with the system but it timed out. The Photolab Center clerk called someone on Vudu support line on the telephone and was on there for at least 20 minutes trying to solve my problem. My original list had nearly 45 discs to convert and they at first told me that was too many. They tried cutting it down to 10 films but still couldn't get it to go through.

                    After an hour, they told me sorry but they couldn't help me do the Disc-to-Digital transfer with my list and discs. They were kind employees and did all that they seemed they could do. I was told that there might have to be a tech call made and was told to "try another Walmart".

                    Like many here, I've converted almost 200 Blu-Rays here at home on my personal computer with Disc-to-Digital just fine, but there are another 100 discs or so that couldn't be read or were having problems. I'd like to convert my entire library of Blu-Rays and DVDs to Ultraviolet/Vudu if possible. I know there are many that SHOULD be eligible for Disc-to-Digital conversion but the local Walmarts in Springfield, Illinois were unable to help. There is a third Walmart in town that I could try, but after reading this forum, I see that this may be a whole systems problem that Vudu and Walmart may need to figure out.

                    Please let me know if there are other solutions. Heck, I'd even photograph holding each disc and cover and email it in if that was permissible to prove I own the discs.

                    If something should change to fix the problem in the Springfield, Illinois area, please let me know.

                      My store today mentioned they had been recently having issues but she said she would try anyway. She was surprised when it actually worked. I was able to get 30 discs copied over today!

                        apparently at my 2 walmarts in town...Findlay,Ohio there is only 1 person in the whole store for each store that even KNOWS how to do this? not by chance she is a manager!!

                        i went to one store 2 times now working on trip 3 tomorrow 1-8-2014.

                        so far no luck..will update when i get back...stay tuned

                          Where are you located and do you know what system your walmarts have? The stores in my area have the Fuji system and that is what is not working.

                              my 2 stores here in findlay,ohio their systems are down. BUT i called another walmart about 25 mins away they said theirs WAS working..going there tomorrow..will keep you updated..

                              to those TRYING to find a Walmart that works..keep persistant...hopefully you too, will find one.

                                Good to know! I havent even stepped foot into my local store because I was waiting for an update on here from DanielH. If the stores are finally starting to get the Fuji system working, I might need to give my local store a call and verify if theirs is up. It's been not working since late September, so it would be wonderful if it is.
