    Walmart.com and Instawatch

I ordered several movies on Thursday night and none of them have yet to show up in my Vudu account. I have gotten a shipping notice but no movies have been added yet via instawatch.

How many days is it supposed to come up? I ordered Sherman&Peabody, Green Lantern, Sherlock Holmes, and Crazy Stupid Love... They were all on the instawatch list on the Walmart.com website.

I ordered rounders and I got the email about 24 hours after I got the shipping notice.

On another note, I bought 2 movies in store on Saturday morning. I just got the email about half an hour ago saying my movies were ready. Far from instant. More like 24to48hourwatch.

Just checked, apparently at the moment digital rights are added after shipping, but will be updated in the next few days to be added when purchased.

I opted for in store pick up with a given pick up date of 10/30. Does that mean the digital rights won't be added until 10/30?

Also my movie appeared under the Instawatch titles but had no instawatch logo. No mention was made of insta watch throughout the check out process. Can I be sure that instawatch was included?

Doesn't explain why my in store purchase took 48 hours though. It took longer than my online order.

Don't get me wrong. I still like the program. It's the only one out there like it and it shows how committed Vudu is to getting people to use the UV and digital copy services. I just think it's not really instant so the name is going to throw people off who are actually expecting instant copies. You're probably going to get a lot of complaints from people who think their copies are missing when really they just haven't posted to their accounts yet.

Sorry, can't really give you much more info, as I'm not directly involved in that project. But the goal is literally to have movies added to your VUDU account when purchased/scanned from receipt and we will be working to make sure that's the case.

Do you have any word on when they will be added on a site to store order? I was told I'd receive codes via e-mail within 24 hours. It's been 12, so we're not there yet but hearing the '48 in-store' story and the 'not until it ships' is making me doubt the 24 hours I was originally told.

I'm honestly skeptical because the words 'instawatch' appeared nowhere on the order despite my order originating from the instawatch sub list on Walmart.com. Even at check out and on my Walmart.com e-mailed invoice, there was no mention of instawatch at all.

I also did a store pick up for the movie "Contraband" which isn't set to be available for pickup until 10/28. I placed the order on 10/19 and it showed up on my Vudu account on 10/20. I guess they are added to your account within 24 hours if you've already paid for the title?

Did they just appear in your library all of a sudden or did you get an instawatch e-mail first?

I pre-ordered a movie on Friday got an email it was shipped on Monday and still have not received an email containing a code or a movie in my account. I hope the bugs get worked out soon. I think it is a great way to purchase movies.

Was the movie ever added to your library? Did you contact Vudu over it?

I'm just curious to see how the bugs are being handled.

I think Instawatch is a fabulous concept, but it seems like it's not ready for Prim Time, based upon what we're seeing.

I got the email which prompted me to go look at the Vudu account.

To those of you not getting the movies on Vudu... are the email addresses the same on both Vudu and Walmart because mine are the same?

My first online order took about 24 hours after shipping to get the movie added. My second order (all movies had the banner on the page) is going on 3 days since shipping and still nothing. I wonder who we contact on this. Vudu or Walmart?

I have the same e-mail address on both.
