Check your junk mail folder in your e-mail provider, if you have not enabled Walmart.com to pass into your allowed e-mail folder, it may have landed in your junk mail folder???

Mine showed up in about 3 to 5 minutes after ordering on the web site.

I had allowed Walmart ages ago, since I do order on line from them from time to time when the local store does not have the items that I want/need.

Oh, I did notice that it was very methodical in checking that the method that I used to pay was fully verified and had "paid", i.e. the Credit Card coughed up the dough prior to shipping the e-mail notice. The invoice reflected that the payment method was being confirmed for some time before the e-mail notice arrived allowing redemption.

For this test, and since this was the first time that I did the Insta-Watch program, I followed the "destructions" to the tee. Now that I know that I can use my VUDU sign in directly, will be doing that going forward.

Thank you for the tip, very much.

I was extremely skeptical that it would work on a title that was not UV, nor available for purchase in the VUDU system, as such was a little "compulsive" about the redemption process. I did kind of think that I could use the direct VUDU log in to redeem, but was not that adventuresome. Coward at this end LOL
When prompted to sign into your Walmart.com account, at the bottom of the sign in window, there is a link titled "Sign in with existing Vudu account" that you can click on to sign in with your Vudu account.

Not in spam, but first time I ordered the second email did not show up until overnight. I will be patient and wait this out. I have a screen shot of the title and an order confirmation so am thinking if the title is available I will get it. Thanks for testing the water and congrats on adding a classic!

Please keep me posted, I am ecstatic to have it in my titles. I did not think that I could ever get it "up" there and that it would languish on my shelf eternally as a physical copy only.

Thank you for pointing out that it was available through Insta-Watch this morning, I spend a little while digging through the pages to find it. Was surprised when it populated and was available, so I really do Thank You as well for the information and ability to add it to my collection.

Yes, so I see, the print was "fine" and my eyes are "old". Also in my excitement to have this finally "up" there, was not really looking, just reacting, I'll be honest.

              Re: Walmart.com and Instawatch

And just to clarify. If you enter the digital copy code from inside the package, that is not InstaWatch. That is just redeeming your digital copy. InstaWatch does not require entering of any codes. For anything that really is InstaWatch eligible, you should receive an email link and when you click on it and are taken to your Vudu account, the title should be added without you needing to enter any kind of digital copy code. Even though you may receive an InstaWatch email telling you that a Disney title is in your account or InstaWatch eligible, this is not the case. Disney titles are not InstaWatch eligible since you're asked to enter the code from within the package.

                Original poster here..

There is some good news and credit to Instawatch - I bought some movies today from walmart.com and received the VUDU notice that they were added 2 minutes after the order confirmation was received.

I also received the notice for Harry Potter movies i bought last week several days later.

However, I am still waiting on the movies I bought 3 weeks ago from walmart.com...

Odd thing happened late last night, the title "African Queen" showed up on my Nook when I was reading. Very odd, not a UV title, but then in this environment, odder things have happened.

Got up this morning and checked VUDU, the title now has a UV emblem associated with it. The title has not shown up in Flixster or the "other" streaming services as of yet. Not sure what is going on here, but it appears that the title is UV enabled when it is added to your Library, otherwise not UV.

I know this because I signed out and searched the title and when I am not signed in it does not reflect as UV.

Bizarre, but appears to be behaving like the MGM titles that were available recently, not UV unless you redeemed the codes.

Hope that you received your e-mail from Walmart, again Thank You for the heads up on the availability of the title yesterday.

                    Re: Walmart.com and Instawatch

So I decided to give this a test run yesterday.

I still had a handful of MGM movies that I already have on blu, but not digital (Terminator, Princess Bride, and Red Dawn (1984)). These were low risk because I bought the re-releases that came with VUDU copies. I figured that if they didn't work, I would at least have the codes. As an aside, it's ironic that it's cheaper to just buy a new blu-ray with a code than to buy the stand-alone digital.

I also wanted to try the Indiana Jones movies. I wasn't brave enough to test and see if the box set would give me the films, so I just bought the first three, since those are the main ones the wife wanted anyway.

About 5 minutes after my purchase went through, I got a notification that all 6 movies had been successfully added to my account. I could definitely see using this more in the future.

Are the IJ movies ultraviolet? What about Terminator and Red Dawn?

It looks like a few emails had to be resent, and yours may have been one of them. Let us know if you still didn't get your movies.

The only movie that is UV is Princess Bride (but I assume you knew that).

Terminator and Red Dawn should get UV eventually as they are MGM. IJ, don't hold your breath. That's a Lucasfilm property, which was part of the Disney buy. The absolute best to hope for with those is that they are added to DMA at some point.

My last order did not get an email. Sin City: A Dame To Kill for and Zodiac. Actually it's about 4 orders that I did not get an email for but I'm just letting those orders die at the store.
