The Amazon Exclusive: The Ultimate James Bond Collection [Blu-ray + Digital HD] is back on Amazon for ordering today. It says you get codes for all of the Bond titles.

I checked both Licence to Kill and Man with the Golden Gun are now marked as UV.

Never Say Never Again is not yet marked as UV.

It will not likely ever get UV since it was not made by the same company that made all the other Bond movies.

If anyone is interested....I pre-ordered the Amazon exclusive Bond set a while back (when the price dropped) and received the set today. There is a single code to redeem the set. It IS Ultraviolet, and redeems as a single entry (a collection, like Star Wars) with all 23 films.

Cool. I thought I might be like that because the actor collections are, but it's good to have confirmation. Was the documentary digital as well?

There are no digital bonus features or documentaries, just the films.

Was the code managed by Fox like many of the other MGM codes have been?

Never Say Never Again was a quasi satire/spoof of the Bond movies, a Sean Connery "shoulda, but didn't" stick with the franchise, kind of endeavor. It was actually subtlety advertised in that vein when it was released, and was not released or produced as a part of the Bond franchise.

Connery did it ending on a higher note than Diamonds Are Forever, and after he was no longer associated with the franchise.

There were huge legal battles over the film since it is a retelling of Thunderball, the legal issues were over the rights to that novel.

Given the auspices under which the film was produced and made, I suspect that it will not become UV as there are conflicts with the actual Bond franchise. Studios do so dislike conflict.

Actually there is yet another "Bond" movie that is a total spoof with David Niven & Peter Sellers - oddly enough titled Casino Royale.

This is the Amazon collection with the code...

Also, if you purchase the individual box sets ie Sean Connery set 1 and 2, Roger Moore set 1 and 2, George Lazenby, Timothy Dalton, Pierce Brosnan and Daniel Craig, they each come with digital codes. Cost you about 40 less than buying the set from Amazon...but you don't get the nice package...

I already own all the Bond on Bluray so I won't be getting Digital unless they go D2D...

Oh yea I saw that one but but $209 is steep when I just want the digital copy I guess I am going to wait and see if vudu does a reasonably priced bundle and go from there.

                          Thanks for the info

I fortunately got a free $100 gift card from iTunes and bought the bundle there when it was on sale for $100.00.

But iTunes isn't Vudu. I can't share iTunes with the kids...well, technically I can, but then if they accidentally buy something, it goes on my CC, which isn't going to happen.

I'm still holding out for D2D. I won't mind paying $2 each for the movies. I've already got enough invested in the Bond movies...VHS, DVD and Bluray. I can wait...patience is a virtue...right.
