    HD on PC

There is a a new banner which says now get HDX on your PC or tablet, but all the films I've tried playing in my library revert to SD, even the few movies that have an HD/SD Computer icon on the right side of the page. Has anyone been able to get HD at all on their PC?

I think that it's just HD on certain movies and not all?

You guys are right. It the banner says HDX or HD on your PC only and doesn't mention anything about tablets. I guess I just assumed it would work for both. I haven't actually watched anything on my tablet as of yet. However, I still can't get HD on my PC anyway. I keep getting this message:

Oops! This movie won't play on your display due to copyright restrictions. It can be played only if both your output and display support HDCP. [#3342]

This message appears no matter what movie I select, even those that have an HD banner. It's nice to know that they are working to fix this, but I'd still like to know if I'm the only one who hasn't been able to get it to work.

Unfortunately, HDCP detection is up to the Flash player/Adobe DRM and graphics card drivers to negotiate. Currently Apple doesn't expose this at all from their drivers so Macs can't play HD to an external monitor (only to builtin screen on a laptop). Also, some Windows PCs don't have proper graphics card support for HDCP (and/or reporting HDCP) so HD may not be available on those.

I know for sure that the problem is not my graphics card so it should be a DRM issue. This is odd to me since other services let you stream in HD, and those are for titles we don't even own. Amazon even uses Flashplayer to stream Prime content on the PC and I haven't had an issue streaming in HD on there.

I figured out how to get past it for watching SD content on a PC. Click watch then in the brief 2 or 3 second screen load click the quality type on the right side of the player. If you bough HDX, you would click that then select SD before the "you cannot play this for whatever reason" error message occurs. Once you get the error, click out and then try to watch it again. It should work. Dumb as hell to do this...but its better than nothing.
