I have the Galaxy S6 and I am extremely frustrated that that vudu still has not corrected this problem. Please get this fixed ASAP!! I purchase all of my movies using vudu and I really do not want to change to another streaming movie service.

We have been told that a fix has been created by Samsung for this issue and it's set to be released by Samsung to the cell carriers around mid-July.

I know this thread mentions the Galaxy S6 Edge... but I just wanted to be sure to mention it also crashes on the "regular" S6 as well (I'm on Sprint if that matters).

I'm going through withdrawal here so I can't wait for this to be fixed!

I read somewhere where the Lollypop 5.1.1 update would fix the problem, but woefully not with the T-Mobile release.

My Samsung S6 thru Sprint was updated a week or so ago to Lollipop 5.1.1 and Vudu still crashes and shuts down. What is going to be the fix and when?

Three months later and most of the way through July and STILL no fix from VUDU and/or Samsung. I alone have over 1800 movies on VUDU. And although I can watch them on my bigger screen tablet, laptop and TV, it would be nice to have VUDU on my phone which I have with me ALL the time. Can we PLEASE get some sort of update that you can place under your app in the Google play store let us customers know EXACTLY what is being done to fix this problem and some sort of time table as to when it'll be fixed!?! I'm tired of hearing you are aware of the situation, we know you are aware. What we want to know is, what are you DOING to fix the problem and WHEN can we expect it to be fixed.

This is now in Samsungs and the cell carriers hands. The fix should go out any moment now according to our last communication.

Verizon has still not pushed this supposed Android update to my Galaxy S6 Edge and so this android Vudu app is worthless on my phone for the longest time. It is so frustrating and I find myself spending more and more time with Google Play and Cinemanow as they work perfectly on the phone. My confidence is waning!

Same feeling here. About 75% of my movie viewing is on my phone and not having the primary service I relied on for months has been frustrating. To access all of the UV content I could normally watch on Vudu, I split between Flixster (TV shows and new purchases) and MGo (old purchases that require a search query). Google Play's reliability and access to my Disney and HBO purchases however is very enticing, even without UV capability. Please fix this soon! Or, you know, use that Walmart might to force Samsung/Google/UV/Digital Video Gods/whoever the hell else receives the figure-pointing to fix the problem. It's things like this that make Walled Gardens more appealing.
