I'm having the same experience with my Samsung Galaxy Note 4 with Verizon. Upgraded to Lollipop before running Vudu app, but the symptoms are the same as indicated in this thread. I don't know if it would have worked before the upgrade of Android or not and I don't want to go back to factory reset to find out.

I am on Verizon using a note 4. Same problem with my device as well. It worked fine before the update. It happens with streaming and downloaded movies. Techs claim they are working on it by trying to recreate the problem. According to the techs not all users are experiencing the problem. Can someone explain to me how on a fresh install and upgrade only some users are effected? What makes one handset work and another fail when it's the same device, i.e. note 4, galaxy 5, etc. Any explanation would be awesome. Thanks

I I would be more than welcome to let them use my phone to reproduce the issue.

I have the same problem on Verizon note 4. Vudu worked great before lollipop then after update vudu won't stream or download? Most of my purchases can still be viewed on Flixter but I would like to see an update fix this problem.

FYI we are aware of the issue with Lollipop users and are currently working on a solution. We hope to have this resolved soon.

We have been told that a fix has been created by Samsung for this issue and it's set to be released by Samsung to the cell carriers around mid-July.

It seems like this problem has been ongoing for some time. It is very disappointing. I just purchased this Note 5 and I cannot watch my Vudu movies.

I am a new VUDU user. I have a Samsung note4 with AT&T. While watching my first purchased movie, it started to buffer during the last 7 minutes of the movie and then the movie freezes. I try to restart and fast forward to where I left off and it keeps happening. Really frustrating. Anyone else having this problem?

You're not alone. Galaxy S5 issues here. No sound and app crashes about a min into a movie I've downloaded. Getting ready for a long trip and was hoping to have some movies to kill some time.

Help us out here Vudu please.

My phone has the most recent software update and I am on US Cellular. Thank you!
