    Proof VUDU listens

Sometimes, I get discouraged by the negative posts accusing VUDU of not listening. I thought it would be a nice change to actually appreciate them for doing that listening thing they get accused of not doing.

Back in October, I asked for a feature to choose a default streaming quality:
    https://forum.vudu.com/showthread.ph...40#post1272140

I then randomly stumbled across this post (in a 4K related thread), which let me know that a feature I requested is indeed now there (for most platforms anyway):

Of course, you can still manually change it from the player controls as before.
There are always complaints that VUDU isn't listening, but this proves they are.

    Now, about those folders...

Don't forget the ability to remove items from "now playing" or "in progress" or whatever that is.

I'm still patiently waiting for Folder organization and options to un-bundle movie sets. Fingers crossed it will happen soon!!!

As far as I know, the feature has not been released or announced. I hope they are working on it

Well, that annoying display is still blocking half the screen on shows that have auto-play available- just saw it interrupt a promo trailer mid-sentence. Don't know WHAT they were thinking when they added that, but I'll be very happy when it's gone.

That was one of the worst additions ever blocking half the screen to show a countdown with auto play. I hope Vudu actually gets it right when they finally add the option to disable auto play and they no longer have anything popping up on the screen. Services like netflix and amazon got it wrong because even with their auto play options disabled they still mess with the end of videos and there is nothing you can do about it. I'm hoping that will not be the case on Vudu and we can finally get back to watching TV shows play out normally without being interrupted.

Same here! I also hope Vudu doesn't decide to change the countdown clock into some type of annoying ad ticker to suggest other shows instead like Amazon has done. The simplicity of just having videos end without any interferences is all I ask for.

I believe the design is just a simple on/off setting so it will behave as movies do when off. Also I heard it's in QA now and will be released relatively soon.

If it's in development I wonder why we beta testers haven't been asked to do anything in many months now?

                        652 HDX
                        2 HD
                        2 SD

Not everything goes to beta testers. Typically, big changes go to the beta community for feedback, like when we were testing the new UI.

waits for that as well. a way to customize the movies i do own into bundles rather than have my harry potters mixed up separately. i would like to have them all in order under Harry potter. just an example and while we are on the subject if i own a part of an offer bundle it would be nice to get a discount on it. i own divergent and was going to get the preorder bundle but i am not spending twice on a movie i already own.
