When you say "home movies", do you mean videos you created yourself? If so, that won't work with Disc to Digital.

I don't think he meant "home movies", but honestly that would be a cool service for Vudu to offer!! We e-mail or mail in a DVD of home movies (wedding video, kid's birthday party, etc) and for a small fee you guys put it on our Vudu account to watch anywhere. I bet a lot of people would buy into that service!!

Very interesting idea! Although most people probably won't want to give Vudu their personal videos. But I like the idea. There are other sites to do this of course, but having everything in one place is ideal.

Yeah, I like the idea of having them in the cloud. It allows you to show them to anyone at anytime. You visit the parents and they say, "I wish I had been at little Jimmy's birthday party". "Oh, well I have the video on Vudu and we can easily access it from your computer!".

It becomes a little complicated when you have already reached the limit of 8 on the number of devices. You then have to go to your account and inactivate one of the devices in order to be able to use the device at "Jimmy's birthday party".

This is what YouTube is for! No reason at all for vudu to offer this service. Just rip your DVD and upload it to YouTube.

The problem with this way is that you need to know beforehand what you want to watch later and normally your don't know what the majority of people will want to watch.

What? That doesn't even make sense.

When you put it that way I'm not even going to bother to explain...
