Has anyone ever received a message when a disc is "fixed"?

When VUDU doesn't recognize a movie it says they are manually working the issue and will notify when it is fixed but in over a year I have never seen any messages.

Also I have 4 movies that are Bluray but are only recognized as SD. I would pay the extra money just to get them added to the library but it won't let me. It gives an error message.

I have about another 75 movies that aren't recognized at all in the D2D process but they are in the VUDU library. It's kind of annoying because it has been over a year and still no progress and once in a blue moon I will put the movies back in to see if they have been fixed but still nothing. And since I have never seen any messages saying they have been fixed I am not sure how to tell other than putting them in the computer and checking.

I have never received a message for disc to digital anything other than my bill. If the disc was double sided I would try the other side if it still did not work I would take it to Walmart for conversion.

Nope, never. I got involved in D2D when the Beta first launched so it seems like I have been doing D2D for 3 or 4 years already.

I have seen one or two titles, usually trilogy sets (Blu-ray), or something like that start working after a year or two. When I am going through my library of Blu-rays and DVDs, I usually place a small green sticker (meaning it was successfully converted), a yellow sticker (meaning I received an error message), or a red sticker (meaning it doesn't qualify for D2D) on the case.

Sometimes (not very often) I go back and grab a pile of with the yellow or red stickers and start going through them again to see if there have been any changes.

Usually, it is a waste of time. A couple of times I have grabbed a pile of movies with the yellow stickers and hauled them up to Walmart for the Walmart D2D but then I have to deal with Walmart employees not having any idea what D2D is and not having a clue how to convert them.

I have never received a notice of a disc being corrected, and I've ben doing D2D since Vudu introduced their converter in 2013. I do try both sides of an applicable disc, and even try the 2nd disc of a 2-disc set (sometimes that works when the first disc won't read), or I use CinemaNow's converter as a last resort, since they use a different technology in theirs (Rovi), however, there's no cart or discount on theirs, and I prefer Vudu's. I also don't do it unless both have the title and it's UV, because I never use CN's roku app (too slow).

As far as taking them into a store for manual conversion, I did that ONCE.. and never again, and they couldn't even do it because they said what they have is exactly what I have, and they get the same error messages...Also, the guy was incredibly slow. If I had more than 5, I would have been there for nearly 2 hours. Not worth it, so ignore that bring your disc in message, it's a waste of time.

I am in the minority in that i've had a mod contact me about fixing a title. It was quite a while ago and I'm not sure the mod even works at Vudu anymore. I believe the only titles they can fix in the software are movies that give you the wrong title and not the error message discs.

This is my biggest issue. I was at Walmart for over an hour and had to leave without being helped. It wasn't for lack of trying on their part, they just had ZERO clue what they were doing. It took them about 30 minutes trying to convince me that location didn't do the D2D even though they had all the stuff up in photo lab. The other 40 minutes was spent finally locating the vudu option but nobody could sign in. I drove 45 minutes there and 45 minutes back because it was the only one that offered it, and was still turned away.
