    Zodiac Director's Cut

Purchased the bluray today from Walmart in the $7.88 bin. Movie came with a UV code. Logged into Vudu to redeem but only the non director's cut shows up. After entering code get message of invalid code(which I can understand), but how do I redeem the one I purchased?

I'm not positive, but I believe the version on Vudu is actually the Director's Cut, even though it isn't labeled that way. However, the studio sometimes decides to have their movie redeem in the theatrial version rather than the Director's Cut. I have redeemed at least three movies which were director's cuts/unrated versions and the redemption code was for the theatrical version.

You can redeem the code for the director's cut at Flixster. I have no idea why it's only redeemable through Flixster when Walmart is the only place you can get the code however. Also, even though you can redeem it at Flixster, you cannot watch it there, or any other UV provider I checked. I have the Director's Cut in my UV locker but no where to watch it.

Regarding the version VUDU provides: unless the meta information is wrong, it is the theatrical cut.

I may be wrong about that. I added Zodiac via D2D over a year ago and I thought the text of the 'Overview' or 'More Info' section of the title listed that this was the Director's Cut. My memory may be wrong as there is no mention of this now.

I just got this movie today from Wal-mart, and it gave me the error also. Why put the UV slip in with a movie with the Vudu name, but no redemption page? I tried it here, then went to the other place and redeemed. The redeem slip needs Vudu taken off until this is resolved. I just went to Flixster, and it is not showing up there either. I will put in a support ticket for this here and see how it goes.

It has shown up in my account now. It looks like it just take a little bit of time.

Where did you redeem it? I've been trying for a couple of days with no success. Flixster support told me it was not available with their service and Vudu support told me to enter the code in the movie credit service. Both wrong answers.

I hope they'll fix Mimic (Director's Cut) as well.

                      Re: Zodiac Director's Cut

my issue with Zodiac finally got resolved. It wasn't by Vudu which had it for a couple of weeks but with Flixster which had the issue for a couple hours. Another disappointment from Vudu.

Mine got fixed by the InstaWatch program (at least I think that is what happened), I put in a ticket to Vudu and it was fixed before they even responded to it.

Wait...so how do you get the Director's cut? The D2D is only theatrical.

Walmart sells them in the $7.88 bin and they have a code.
