Jurassic park Trilogy for Early Adopters (Blu-ray)

I understand if you cannot add the upconvert DVD, but if you purchase Jurassic Park on Blu-ray you currently receive the UV copy. I was an early adopter when UV and VUDU were still working this out. I would like to be able to add my Jurassic Park blu-ray Collection to Vudu. I'm sure I am not the only one who would be forever grateful if, we early adopters could attain the Vudu or UV digital access to these films.

You'll have to take that up with the studio.

I actually had a Blu-Ray with unused and still valid digital copy (ala iTunes) and went round and round with them trying to get UV. No go.

Costco had a huge sale on the combo on week. I bought that used the UV that was actually OUTSIDE the box (smiles) and kept my old copies and sold the sealed combo to someone else. Nothing out of pocket. Even if you had to buy it for $40 and sell it for $20. The $20 for the UV is still way cheaper than buying all three on Vudu and there is no moral issue since you still own the three blu-rays already.

    Best of luck.

Thanks. I guess that is one way to do it. I just hope they allow for the early (Blu-ray) adopters to at least add the UV/Vudu code. I would love to add them to my library (for a minimal cost), but I definitely don't want to buy them again. You brought up an interesting work around for others.

Great News Jurassic Park is now available for Disc to Digital! The only problem is the discs are not being read by Vudu To Go. Every time I put in any of the 3 movies, it states the disc cannot be identified. It is so disappointing that even though Vudu has the UV rights, I cannot use their service. I would bring them to Walmart, but I love to convert using the promotion of 10 or more. I have a few blurays and DVDs saved up just for this occasion,

Is anyone else having this problem or is it just me? Vudu is there anyway to expedite getting these in your Vudu To GO database?

This actually appears to be a major update to Disc to Disc titles. On a whim I checked a large number of other Universal titles which were not previously on D2D and they are all there now. NICE! Well nice for others, I got tired of waiting and bought them last week!!! Fortunately for me it was all with credits so wasn't like it cost me full price and most were on the end of year sale as well.

Most likely others are having the same issue as well. Vudu has been mum on the inner workings of their disc to digital software. However, from comparison against other D2D software, the choice of movie look-up technology or partner company appears to play a significant role.

Luckily for them, so far, they are the only blu-ray disc to digital option available.
