The Fandango at Home Forums are designed to help viewers get the most out of their Fandango at Home experience. Here, Fandango at Home customers may post information, questions, ideas, etc. on the subject of Fandango at Home and Fandango at Home -related issues (home theater, entertainment, etc).     The Deer Hunter - Best Picture Oscar 1978

    I'd like to see an effort made to get all of the best pictures added to Vudu - in original aspect ratio and HDX, of course.

    The Deer Hunter won Best Picture in 1978 and is #53 on AFI's Top 100 list.

    I would too! This would be a major step forward for UV. I made this same, or similar, comment before in another thread. I feel that at the very least the top 500 movies off all time should be available to be included in your UltraViolet locker. I think they also should be available for Disc-to-Digital. I believe that if too many of these "greatest ever" movies are not available for UV that people will not take it serious. I think that if a movie is available on iTunes that the studio should make it available for UV.

    Movies like Titanic, Star Wars, The Avengers, The Silence of the Lambs, and Raging Bull are just a few examples of movies that are missing from UV. Even if Disney, and the other studios who own the rights to these movies, are not yet ready to embrace UV, I would think that some kind of agreement could be made for a hand full of their movies that are on this list.

    Television content should also be a big focal point with as many of the current television shows being added to UV as possible (like The Walking Dead, American Horror Story, Breaking Bad, Homeland, The Following, CSI, and Modern Family to name a few). But I also feel like television studios need to do a lot of work to get as many older and most popular television shows of all time on UV as possible. Shows like Seinfeld, Friends, The Andy Griffith Show, Hill Street Blues, and Law and Order.

    I would think that this strategy would make content available that most people want and would draw more people to UltraViolet.
