Halloween III is the best one!

Halloween II, III, H20, Curse of Michael Myers, and Resurrection are all on Vudu. Only Parts 1, 4, AND 5 are not.

Halloween: The Curse of Michael Myers Unrated Producer's Cut is coming to Blu-Ray on 9/15/15. It comes with Digital HD. I'm wondering if the Digital Version is also the producer's cut. If you go to Halloween: The Curse of Michael Myers here on Vudu, there is a 'UV Redeem' button. I don't believe that the Vudu version that has been available until now is the producer's cut. I hope buying the blu-ray also comes with a digital producer's cut.

            Re: Halloween Franchise

I don't think my horror collection will ever be complete without John Carpenter's original.

Unfortunately it seems like there is someone that is a hold out in the negotiations that keeps it from becoming available in this format. Someone that it's not all about the money.

My biggest fear is that it may be John Carpenter himself. This movie really meant a lot to him and still does. Everything he did to get it made, the entire new genre of horror that it launched and the fact that he has never been able to stop all the sequels or the remakes of something so close to himself.

That's a good point. I had pre-ordered the blu-ray, because I wanted the Producer's Cut on UV. But that digital code might just be for the regular version. So I canceled my pre-order. I'll wait until Vudu actually adds the Producer's Cut.

Vudu has added the Unrated Producer's Cut. It's not UV yet, but there's a Redeem button.

                          Re: Halloween Franchise

I-tunes seems to be doing a better job of negotiating to get a lot of the movies that VUDU isn't getting, but we assume they are still trying to get.

                          Halloween
                          Mr Hollands Opus
                          Needful Things
                          Beastmaster
                          Malice
                          Porky's
                          Iron Eagle
                          Amos and Andrew
                          The Babysitters

Some of these had previously been offered by VUDU but seem to have been lost.

I don't even like I-tunes, but if I want to own these in the digital format, that is where I would have to go

I see owning them on Itunes to be the equivalent of not owning them at all. I don't have Apple TV, so I would never be able to watch those movies on my television.

You can easily buy and download them from iTunes, and watch them on your TV via HDMI. Not the same I know, but better than setting at a desk. Why VUDU doesn't try harder to get classic titles is crazy.
