    audio/video stutter is back

Tried to watch Demolition Man (SD) and the dreaded stop/backup/play problem is back in a BIG way. Five times in the first 6 minutes. Impossible, I gave up in frustration.
This is not the first time this has happened. Is there any progress in resolving this issue.

    Regards,

    Bob

    Re: audio/video stutter is back

I just rented it and it does seem to be goobered up. I'm getting the Buffering ... playback in x:xx:xx message. Not good - but it does seem to be specific to just this movie, and not all shows.

Please fill out the contact form at http://supports.vudu.com//contact.php to report this message. Be sure to include your system ID and the email associated with your Vudu billing account so you can get a credit for the bad encode.

Be sure to include your system ID and the email associated with your Vudu billing account so you can get a credit for the bad experience. You might want to go ahead and post your system ID here also in case one of the engineers is watching the forums tonight.

BTW, were you using the free Vudu Labs applciations earlier? If so, do you recall what functions you were using?

We are already looking into this. To help us debugging the issue can you please answer the following questions:

          1. Have you watched any vudulabs videos before this happened?

          2. Can you please reboot the box and check if this "fixed" the issue?

          3. Do you see the stuttering only while you are streaming or also when it is fully downloaded?

          4. What is the encoding type of the movie (SD, HD, HDX)?
