    buffering

I've played around with the Vudu app on the Boxee Box a few different times but had a similar problem. My network's speed generally rates from between 10-14 Mbps, and when I do the test on Vudu to see what quality video I should use, I have gotten results saying HDX, HD, and some that said there was a network problem and couldn't complete the test. However, no matter the result of the test, every 2-minute video I have tried in HD or HDX has buffered at least 2 or 3 times in those 2 minutes. My Boxee is connected via ethernet, not wireless, so it is getting the same connection my PC is, but the Boxee Speed Test app consistently gives a lower reading than testing with my PC, so maybe that's part of it, however that still doesn't necessarily explain why the Vudu test would okay me for HDX and then buffer frequently on an HD preview.

I am also having the same problem. It does not matter to me, if i go wireless or wired, constant buffering while playing SD content also.

          Re: buffering

Has anyone experienced a problem with the Vudu app? When I first starting using it, I was able to purchase or rent movies and view them without any problems. I ran the Vudu network speed test and it registered with a greater them 9mbps connection.
But recently (last week) the app will not load my movie collection. I get a error stating that there is a problem loading bundle. If I try again it will load and take me to the main Vudu screen. But this loads extremely slow. If I wait for the box art to download and then try to load a purchased movie, it will begin but then stops and says buffering. I ran the Vudu network test several times now and I am getting less then 2.5mbps at the best. Most tests fail and I have to re-try.
Nothing has changed on my internet connection. I have the Boxee hard wired to my AT&T-uverse router. My uverse internet package is the Max plus which has a max download speed of 18mbps. I have run several speed tests from various PC connected to the network and all of them come back with a range of 12 to 14mbps download.
          Any ideas?

            Re: buffering

I've experienced endless buffering upon starting an SD movie today. Previews load and play without problems. Competing movie streaming apps play without issue.

I have reloaded Boxee and the Vudu app and experience the same results.

I have watched a handful of SD movies in the past three months with the same configuration without issues.

Advice and an account credit are welcome!

Ok, this is getting annoying. I've been using Boxee Box with Vudu for more than a month now and it's worked perfect. The last few days I can't make it through a movie without it buffering or asking me repeatedly if I want to watch at a lower resolution. I've run the speed test multiple times and it's maxed out the entire time. Are your servers over capacity now or what? I don't have a problem watching Netflix movies.
