The Vudu Forums are designed to help viewers get the most out of their Vudu experience. Here, Vudu customers may post information, questions, ideas, etc. on the subject of Vudu and Vudu -related issues (home theater, entertainment, etc). Although the primary purpose of these forums is to help Vudu customers with questions and/or problems with their Vudu service, there are also off-topic areas available within the Vudu Forums for users to chat with like-minded people, subject to the limitations below.

Please post all comments in English. When posting a comment in the Vudu Forums, please conduct yourself in a respectful and civil manner. While we respect that you may feel strongly about an issue, please leave room for discussion.

Vudu reserves the right to refrain from posting and/or to remove user comments, including comments that contain any of the following:

    Vudu Customer Service Dropping the Ball on Quick Replies

    I am at the end of my rope with Vudu customer service. I have had two specific issues, the first understandable, having to do with the In Home Disc to Digital beta, and the second having to do with playback of a rental.

    First Issue:
    I've had some trouble with Vudu recognizing some of my discs, which I understand is common in a beta. That is not my issue. My issue is, after the preliminary response that "we will contact you with a solution as soon as we have one available," I have replied on three separate occasions, weeks apart, using the dropdown saying I want a reply, and still have heard nothing.

    Second Issue:
    I rented Hitchcock, which I have not been able to play. I copied the error code and sent that via email. After getting an email that I should hear something within 24 hours (which was last Sunday) I still have heard nothing. I tried to watch the movie again tonight, and still couldn't play it. I have paid for this and cannot use it, and no one has responded to anything I have sent.

    It is not my intention to start a big stink, but the only alternative left to me is to post publicly since my private messages have been getting no attention.

      I have the same problem with no replies, and it sucks. Need better customer service! I've read every possible question and answer, not finding my answer anywhere!

            My first experience w/ Vudu customer 'service' has been less than acceptable. And I feel that my problem is fairly simple, so not sure why the delay in getting a human involved?

            I reported my problem March 5 at 7:32 am via the 'contact us' link.

            I received a computer-generated return email stating my issue had been received, and I would receive a response 'within 24 hours.'

            Weeeelllll?. it has now been 180+ HOURS!?

            WHAT is taking so long?
