Building Library with Disc to Digital..and already, movies showing "Unavaialble"

I converted the movie "In the Bedroom" and purchased the HDX version, but when attempting to select it to watch from "My Vudu" on my Sony Blu Ray, a message pops up saying the movie is unavailable.. I did a name search for Sissy Spacek and Vudu has the movie under her name, but when you click on it, the system freezes and goes back to the main screen. I tried to look it up on my laptop, and it says, I've purchased it in HDX, but it's only available to view in SD on my laptop, and there's no watch button, only a watch trailer option...

So far, I've spent well over $1,000 investing/storing content on Vudu's system with the disc to digital @ home, because I was under the impression that THIS was the future and it's more sensible to upgrade a dvd to HDX rather than convert to a Blu Ray... AND I was told by Vudu's customer service, over the phone, that "when we purchase a movie/show on Vudu, regardless whether or not it's available in general, later on, it will always be mine in my collection".. I had asked specifically, because I recently found out that Amazon flat out admits that programs may become unavailable from time to time, due to content & contracts restrictions, etc....Again, I seriously hope this is NOT the same situation with you Vudu, and that someone just told me what I wanted to hear, because if that's the case, I will be very upset and may have to rethink things. I was selling off many of the titles as I was converting, since I no longer needed them (unless they had a ton of special features)..

Very nervous here.. If I pay "purchase" it with the understanding that it's mine to view anytime, it should be just that, otherwise, it's Netflix..only I'm supplying the content that will/can disappear at anytime. But .. my fingers are crossed that it's just a tech glitch.. because out of my 588 titles, this was the only one I had a problem with, thus far..and other Miramax and Lionsgate titles have not had this problem.. Well, and 4 Warner Bros. Titles showing on my Sony Blu Ray on Vudu, My Laptop, but not on Roku 3, they are just not even in the search, because I was told by someone at Vudu, that the 4 titles had audio problems on Roku and were being fixed.. that was over a month ago..they still aren't showing on Roku..Still, not a big deal, just 4 titles & if I wanna watch them, I use the my Blu Ray player to access Vudu. Sorry this was so long (yikes)

I converted this movie also, and appears like it is "unavailable" on a roku box or a Sony Bluray player I got, but does stream on a Samsung TV vudu app, which sucks cause the Samsung app has no sorting of any kind, so can be a pain to find it, also have to play my 3D movies on the Samsung TV app as those don't work on my bluray player either (which does do 3D blurays themselves anyhow, must be some kind of hardware programming with the vudu app why it don't work with the player), but these 3D movies do work on my Samsung TV (which is a 3D TV).....so guess that's always fine, I guess an easy way to find these movies is just to do a search I spose, will try that later, I only use the TV app to play these few movies that aren't supported on my bluray or roku player....

I just tried to watch "Dodgeball" and can see that I "own" it in sd. But I can't watch it. Huh? Anyway, I am not paying for anymore vudu titles until this is resolved and maybe beyond. Why on earth would I "buy" movies so I can not watch them? Good way to kill a good idea.
