    The Toho Godzilla Collection!

I recently purchase 3 Blurays of The Toho Godzilla Collection at Walmart. Each collection comes with 2 Godzilla movies and has an Ultraviolet insert to redeem the movies. I can not find anywhere to redeem these. The insert states to redeem it on Sonys' site. The codes comes up invalid of course. I tried to report the problem to Sony, but get an error message every time I tried. Frustrating. Has anybody else found these yet? And are you having the same kind of problems I am having? Anybody HELP!

It may be due to the fact that those title's official release date is May 6, 2014. Seems Walmart broke street date. Curious how much they cost at Walmart? I ordered from Barnes & Nobles for about $14.60 each.

Thank for letting know the release date. I got them for $7.50 each. They rang up at $12.97 each but the sign on the rack said $7.50, so that was the price I paid for each. Their mistake, my benefit.

Wow $7.50 each? What a steal! These codes are active today but only from Sony's site, luckily the movies showed up instantly here on Vudu. It was my first experience redeeming via Sony's site and I was anxious there would be an issue. I kept getting "error" messages when trying to link my UV account with them.

I am noticing the same problem, only I am trying to activate them today, which is the official release date. I suppose there could still just be a lag in the system. I'll try tomorrow and see what happens.

I noticed this problem yesterday on May 6 when the codes should have been working. This was for all four of the double feature titles in the Toho Godzilla Collection. I just tried it again today at 11:00 AM EDT on May 7th. The Sony redemption site works fine, but then if you choose the Vudu option on their page it brings you to the Vudu site where it gives the error message 'Promotion not found.' Not sure if it was Sony or Vudu who dropped the ball on this one, but this is kind of irritating.

Looks like it may be a couple days before we have everything setup for this one.

I had the same issue, however, it went thru when I selected Flixster (I have a Flixster account, but only because they gave me a couple freebies...Vudu is the only one I buy from or use).

                  Re: The Toho Godzilla Collection!

There are two problems with the Ultraviolet codes from the Godzilla set..

                  1) The image used for Godzilla vs Mothra shows the Simitar release from 1964

                  2) Godzilla vs Space Godzilla only gives you an SD of the movie, whereas the rest all give you HDX.

2 notes I had about the Godzilla releases that just came out...

The Ultraviolet for Godzilla vs Mothra (1992) mistakenly shows the cover from the Simitar release of the 1964 movie

The Ultraviolet of Godzilla vs Space Godzilla code is only giving you a SD version, not HDX like the other 7 Godzilla films just released by Sony on blu-ray. I thought all Ultraviolet codes from a blu-ray purchase were supposed to be HDX?

Thanks for the heads up. Question, are these UV versions just the english dubbed or can you also choose original Japanese with subtitles?

Godzilla vs Space Godzilla has two different entries on Vudu, an original entry before the Toho Collection came out, only available in SD, and a newer entry that goes from SD to HDX. I'm wondering if they have it set to give you the wrong one? For that matter, why are both still available, since they seem to be the same thing? I get having two when there's an unrated or director's cut, but this? Maybe it'll be sorted out later as well.
