Weird playback issue on Android cell phone

    After a recent software update to my phone (LG G5) this is what happened. Only half of the screen shows the movie on my Vudu app. Netflix works fine. I tried multiple movies. This is Barbie Spy Squad. It would not let me take a screenshot so I had to take the picture with another camera.

        I have 355 movies on my vudu none of them work want a full list in alphabetical order? Will that help you figure out why only half my screen shows? It doesnt let me take a screen shot. Says "screenshot is unavailable."

        Another G5 that only shows half the screen. Must be a G5 problem. Wonderful. This will take weeks to fix.

          Sorry dont mean to be rude but this is extremely frustrating because a picture of exactly what I am describing is unnecessary in my opinion. Its exactly how it sounds. half the screen is black and the other half has the movie playing. So I apologize for losing my patience.

            I know how you feel. I spent 4 hours on the phone with google tech support trying to fix this issue with google play movies. I have cleared the cache and data for the apps, uninstalled and reinstalled the apps, factory reset my phone(twice), have tried both streeming and downloading the movies. Nothing works stills shows only half the screen.

              Yes its clear that its a G5 problem. Can you take a screenshot and upload it to imgur and post it here in this thread for Felipe? Use the direct link for the photo on imgur.

                        We have tried replicating this issue on some LG G5 phones and were unable to do so. What provider did you obtain your phone from? (T-Mobile, Verizon, AT&T, etc.)

                            Us cellular as well. Getting a new G5 in the mail through warranty for different issue I am having with the phone GPS. It comes tomorrow. I will activate it and let you know if the issue plays on the new phone as well or not.
