Vudu to Go Movies/Shows Freeze at Random Points...

...and it eventually crashes the program. Windows 10 PC...had this problem on a Win7 PC, too. I'm having this problem right now with the first episode of Game of Thrones Season 5. It's constantly freezing at the same spot. After stopping and restarting, I just deleted the episode and now I'm re-downloading it to see if that works.

Edit: Looks like that fixed it, which tells me that the file got corrupted during the download. The VuduToGo app could definitely use an update with a few extra features...like play while downloading.

Edit2: And now GoT Episode 2 is freezing at 13:17 every single time. VuduToGo definitely needs an update. You can crash the app just by navigating through a video (clicking the slider to different times in the video). Also, when you put the video in full screen it will just be black with audio. If I maximize the video before it finishes its initial buffering I can get around this. Very annoying!

Well, apparently no one that reads the forums every day or two. I've been watching movies while traveling back and forth to see my dad in the hospital for the last six months, about 10 round trips with an average of one movie per leg, and I haven't had any issues (on my MacBook Pro).

Have you checked if SpeedStep is enabled in the BIOS? Apparently it's an Intel thing that is known to cause issues:

Stuttering video when using my PC for Vudu streaming
      Jerky Video Playback VuduToGo PC
No hardware encoding, Radion HD 7340, Windows 8, IE

You know what? I saw this yesterday. I don't know if I just never noticed it before, or if Cold Souls had a lot more panning than most movies, or if something changed when Flash updated just before watching this movie. But now I'm seeing it!

Not sure what you mean by panning, but the biggest problem I'm having with my VuduToGo downloads is that there is ALWAYS a single point in the video where it just freezes. If it doesn't crash, I am able to skip past the "corrupted" frames (about 10 seconds or so past) and continue on with the show. If I don't skip forward far enough past the corrupted frames, the player usually crashes which will also crash VuduToGo. This happens with EVERY. SINGLE. DOWNLOAD. Yes, this is a better work-around than deleting and re-downloading the video, but a lot of important dialogue can be missed in the 10-15 seconds I have to skip.

Panning is when the camera moves to one side or the other. When that happened while watching Cold Souls, there was very noticeable jerkiness in the panning. I had closed most other programs, paused Carbonite, and turned off wifi, and this is a fairly new, high performance laptop.

Strange, I just went on vacation with around 6 or 7 downloaded movies and none of the symptoms you describe above happened on my downloaded movies while watching them. All played without a hitch.
