    Series is in my library but still has purchase info listed on VUDU??

    I have three TV series that I have redeemed codes on and it still has purchase info on VUDU. I picked up Weeds Complete Series, Batman: Complete TV Series and Texas Rising mini series. When you click on the individual seasons for Weeds and Batman it still tells me that I can purchse the season on vudu even though I already own them and can play each episode. Texas Rising has the same issue plus the redeem UV tab is showing up. All three of these are in my UV library. I just don't want my son to purchase another season of Batman by mistake while he's watching an episode.

    Any way this can get fixed?

    This is a side effect of TV shows importing from UV. UV imports the content by episode, not as the entire season as a whole.

        I have the same issue with "Rick and Morty: Season 1" and "Falling Skies: Season 2".

        It would be nice to have this bug fixed.

          Yes, this is so frustrating. If you have every standard episode, it should just unlock the season.

            It is also a problem if you have purchased/redeemed on vudu and have used the share my movies feature - anyone you share with will only show the episodes as owned.

            Removing the season purchase option when all episodes are owned is my #1 hope for vudu!

            I wonder if a lot of people decide to buy a season they already own all the episodes for

                It seems like this is something that Vudu could easily fix on your end. When importing from UV, if all episodes in the season are "purchased", then it would automatically "purchase" the season.

                  Agreed. I thought the whole purpose of UV was to make it easier on the customers. Now we have to worry about when and where we redeem in order to get full seasons or UHD or whatever.

                  This really needs attention.

                    Yup. So much overcomplication.

                      Any news on this from the vudu decision makers?

                      If you don't want to show a tv season as owned if all the episodes are owned, could you at least remove the option to buy the season if all the episodes are owned? Just changing the UI a little bit would go a long way.

                      I am still upset that last year the myuv database was modified long after redemption/purchase and about 30 TV seasons I owned were converted from a single full season UV entry into hundreds of individual episodes (yes, UV supports full seasons as a single ALID that import to vudu and say the season is owned). So dumb that they wouldn't do the reverse and convert all single episodes into full seasons... seems like an unnecessary bloat on UV library size as well.

                        Yea this is irritating. Here's some psuedo code help. No reason why this can't be done on vudus end

                        If all episodes in season are owned

                        Season = owned

                        Else

                        Season = unowned

                          That's the problem that I'm having with Season 3 of Batman: The Brave and the Bold, and Season 3 of Batman Beyond. I got the series through the codes, but those two series has price info. How do I have to pay more for the shows I already have. Also the same with Seasons 1 & 2 of Scooby-Doo Where Are You? I got that through a code. I have the show on Flixster, but it's not on my Vudu Library.

                            Same thing here.

                            Imported Spartacus seasons and the purchase option remains. Oddly enough, my Ninja Turtles season has the purchase option too. I bought it from vudu but I purchased one episode at a time (used spare credits).

                              Now that Ultraviolet is shutting down, will this issue cause any troubles? I still have a bunch of imported UV TV Seasons that still list the purchase option with prices on Vudu even though I do own and can play all episodes of the season. I'd imagine these will remain playable the same way that they've been (as long as my UV account remains linked pre-closure), but I would just like some reassurance given this issue. Thanks!
