UHD option not available on Sony XBR-55X850D w/ Nvidia Shield

UHD option is not available on Sony XBR-55X850D or Nvidia Shield. Tested by resetting both devices, reset and updated APP and hardware to required version, HDR enabled, enabled Enhanced format on all HDMI ports for the Shield, and verified the TV's resolution is 4K (3840p x 2160p) and the UHD option WILL NOT display on any 4K HDR device (Xbox One S, PS4 Pro, Sony Android TV, NVidia Shield). 4K Blu-rays, Prime, Movies Anywhere, Netflix, and Plex display with no issue in 4K on the TV, just Vudu. Am I missing something?

Reporting the same problem on Sony XBR55X930D, It isn't not showing UHD as a playback quality option on setting just HDX, as I verified I can see that it should be a 4K compatible device with Vudu

Please take a look at this post in regards to UHD playback and the Nvidia Shield.

Can confirm that this DOES NOT WORK, the option is there on the phone but once it's "flung" to the Shield it only plays in HDX and gives "Playback error..." when I change the quality to UHD.

It's just unbearably frustrating and makes me never want to by a VUDU movie ever again; I have numerous 4K UHD movies that I've never been unable to play because of being handicapped with one thing after another on VUDU. I've spent hundreds of dollars on multiple 4K compatible devices [Amazon Fire (No VUDU app), PS4 Pro (Won't play UHD), XBox One S (Won't play UHD), Nvidia Shield (Won't play UHD), Android TV (Won't play UHD)] and I can't play a SINGLE UHD MOVIE.

Feb 13, 2021 - I purchased a movie in UHD and it won't play back in that resolution on either a Sony 75Z9D or a Sony X900F. I have a Roku Ultra on one of the TVs and that pulls Vudu movies in in UHD. Both sets are running Version 6.1.1129 and even deleting the app and reinstalling it, will not bring in a newer version. Any help here? Thanks.
