    My movies not playing on roku

    I've been trying to watch star wars tfa for several days not. I bought it on vudu but every time I try to play this or any movie over my roku app it starts like it's loading to play the movie than quits and kicks me to a "Rate/Share" page. I don't know why I keep trying its been doing this for several days. I want to watch the movies I bought through vudu!

    I am having the same issue on my new Roku stick! Please help!

      VuDu is doing the same thing on my Roku now. It was working fine but will not allow me to watch my purchased movies anymore. It start a couple days ago or so. I have uninstalled it and reinstalled. This is the only thread I have found with people having the same problem.

        In another Roku thread a Vudu mod say to power cycle the Roku - power down/disconnect from the power supply and then power back up.

          If you guys are still having issues with the Vudu app crashing/rate screen bug on Roku products, please provide the following information so we can investigate this issue further, thanks.

          - Make and model of the Roku device (Settings > System > About)
          - Content that's exhibiting this behavior and the quality (SD, HD, HDX, UHD)
          - Roku Software/Firmware version (Settings > System > About)
          - Vudu app version (Settings (gear icon) > System Info > Vudu Client Version)
          - Audio/Video Settings (Settings > Audio), (Settings > HDMI), (Settings > Display Type)
          - Audio/Video Setup (Audio receiver, HDMI, Composite, etc.)
          - Do you use other streaming services on the same device? (Netflix, Amazon, etc.)

          PLEASE ALSO PERFORM A POWERCYCLE ON THE DEVICE. UNPLUG FROM THE POWER SOURCE, WAIT A MINUTE AND PLUG BACK IN. LET ME KNOW IF THIS HELPS OR NOT.

            I had the same issue while using my TCL roku TV and vudu app.

            Issue stopped after power cycling the TV including unplugging TV from power source.

            I will reply more if it comes back.

              Roku was able to replicate this issue and is working on a fix in a future firmware update. No ETA at this moment.

                This is so crazy! I just purchased Batman v Superman UHD and I get the same issue... Start movie and it goes to rating the movie screen. I would love to rate it, but I have to watch it first! Has anyone found a resolution yet?

                  Roku has released a new firmware that resolves this issue. Check to see if you have version 7.2.0
