The Crying Game is missing from My Vudu as well, the one for sale now has a different cover art. The old one was the full figure of the character.

Okay, now I know for an absolute fact that you have a poor memory for what you have and don't have. Dogma has NEVER been available digitally. For a limited time it was available on DVD but the studio does not own the rights to the movie. It is owned personally by Harvey and Bob Weinstein and they removed it completely from the market before streaming ever existed. Kevin Smith tried to buy the rights at one point before streaming became a thing, but the Weinsteins wanted a fortune for it and he said no deal.

Now if you actually want to watch it streaming a few people have ripped and uploaded a copy to YouTube. It won't be taken down unless files a claim and the Weinsteins certainly aren't going to do that.

But you definitely never owned it on Vudu or any other streaming service.

Wait a minute. I might have a guess what happened to most of your missing movies.. I'm betting a lot of the movies in your library came from instawatch codes you purchased or were given by the people who bought the actual discs. Well here's the thing. A couple years back Walmart decided to remove illegally added Instawatch titles. If somebody who had a Walmart account made the in store purchase with their account but the title was redeemed by a different account then those titles got removed. The Instawatch titles only remained if they were purchased by the account that redeemed them, or if they were purchased without using a Walmart account.

Nope, bought them on Vudu but likely when it was Walmart/Vudu, never did any instawatch.

Still, I know for sure for most of them. I am buying them back one by one but there are still ones I am very certain I bought them once already.

There are some I was very certain I bought, like Inner Space, Bridesmaids, Titanic, Dunkirk, Spencer (that one is a redeem I think), in the case of Bridesmaids, the unrated extended version is not viewable, it is there when you search it, but you have to re buy unrated or extended versions. Can I mess up on a title or two, yes, I have over 3600 titles in My Vudu, but I just need some answer on the ones I am certain that are missing. ( As I am buying them back one by one in the mean time.)

I have another possible answer that might locate some of your movies. When Vudu loses the rights to a movie or replaces it with a different version then using the search function will not show that you own it. For instance let's say that the studio released a newer slightly different version of Bridesmaids to Vudu and decided to stop supporting the unrated extended version. You would still have the old version in your account, but if you used the search function it would only show the new version and it would look like you don't own it or show the version you have but look like you can't play it. BUT if you went to "my movies", sorted in alphabetical order, and scrolled down then when you reached the Bs Bridesmaids would be there and you could watch it just fine.

I wish that is the case, it is not there. I wish the escalated support would give me some answer on what happened. I was told to be patient because they are too busy, but how many escalated cased are there that my case is not answered for over a month already? Even if they think I am full of it.

I noticed this morning that "I love you, Phillip Morris" is on sale. I thought I had it already but it shows I need to buy it again. I went to My Vudu and found it that I have it already and I can play it from there. No special edition but two normal version are coexisting in Vudu space.

I have that issue with Prime Video, and the retailers need to figure out a way to fix this.

but if the issue disappeared in the escalated support, is there an issue at all?

Mosquito Coast also disappeared from my collection and now for sale again with different cover art. Escalated support is still MIA since late Feb/early March.
