I've also had at least one movie and several seasons of a show disappear from my library...... just a heads up on something i've noticed in my library every now and then.... sometimes a title you've bought gets removed from the store and a new version is available... you can search for it and you'll only see the new title(which you don't own).. but it'll still be in your library if you scroll down to it... maybe that might be whats wrong for some of your missing movies..... it's happened to me several times..

I can not find them in my library. They are gone and I have to buy the new version again.

I have had some disappear. I copied all of my movies/tv shows (I only have a third of what you have) into MS Word. Now I have the proof that I had a TV show or Movie in Vudu. Every time I purchase another, it goes into that list. I realize that it will be burdensome for you to download all of yours but once you do, it is very easy to keep up.

they'll also ask you to provide a picture/screenshot of the proof of purchase - I sent them pictures of the email with the order# and a picture of the paypal transaction.... they've ignored me for like 3 months now...... about to see if paypal will just do a chargeback or something lol.... Vudu doesn't seem to care at all...

I'm sorry to tell you that you are chasing your own tail.

I have, according to the VUDU app, 4147 movies and 229 TV shows. I also have DOZENS missing and or are unable to be played. I've gone many rounds with VUDU Customer Support for many years with no luck. I own thousands of DVDs/Blu-rays/4Ks of movies and obsessively buy movies from VUDU regardless if I own them or can stream them for free on the many services I subscribe to. One of the problems is that the purchase history has no method to search it and at times doesn't even provide the titles to movies purchased. This problem has been ongoing since the days of Ultraviolet-Fandango-VUDU.

The only recourse, that I personally have put into practice, is that I've severely curtailed my purchases from VUDU. When I do purchase, I try to buy from Movies Anywhere when possible.

yeah I kind of figured as much lol.. but cant hurt to try...I only have around 3500 movies/200 tv shows on here myself....the majority came from disc2digital or codes....I prioritize buying blurays/4k's before anything digital(I think I'm sitting around 5k or 6k ... hard to tell since filmaf shut down years ago... I purchased dvdprofiler and a barcode scanner... just need to sit down and go through them lol) ...... I'll occasionally buy some things in their 5 dollar deals or I'll buy new releases since they come out so much sooner then disc.....I have my movies anywhere linked with vudu/micosoft/itunes/google play..so at least some of my digital library is backed up on other sites.... Vudu is nice and convenient but their customer support could use some work...

yes it's hard to search the purchase history on vudu... but if you search for whatever movie you've bought in your email its not to hard to find.. then you can just look at the date and search it up that way through vudu's purchase history...

When I was looking to purchase "True Lies", I couldn't find it anywhere in HD so ended up buying an overseas copy on blu-ray disc. I'm hoping that once it upgrades to 4K, all the streaming providers will have the option to purchase. Maybe you're referring to an SD version that Vudu had?

                    925 UHD
                    848 HDX
                    4 SD

I don't know, I thought I bought it once on Vudu already, just like other titles like Titanic, Crying Game, Inner Space etc, then they disappeared. Since I did not have screenshot proof of purchase on all the thousands of titles I have, I had to buy them all again.

It's you and you keep doing this. True Lies has never been available for purchase though it was available through D2D before 20th Century Fox removed their movies from the program. I used D2D and still have it in my library so no they aren't deleting it.

I am not 100% certain but every time a title came out again with a new cover art, it makes me wonder. Abyss is another title I am not sure about. I am pretty certain Crying game, Titanic and Mosquito Coast I bought and disappeared.

I just noticed my Resident Evil bundle is missing. I have over 600 movies, so it's hard to notice when something is missing if I don't watch it often. Now I'm wondering what else may be gone.

I still have that bundle in mine. I had since used the chrome extension Vudu Catalog to built an Excel database. Perhaps it will be easier to figure this out in the future.

Is any missing Any movies that they owned that they know they purchased. I’m Missing the entire complete series of Sopranos and Young Guns 1 & 2. Is any one else having issues. I first noticed because my movie count dropped from 3182 to 3175. I started checking everything and other connected retailers but it’s all the same. I speculate some other movies I believe disappeared but I didn’t bing watch them yearly like I have these 3. And I know Young Guns wasn’t always available until after Walmart took over.
