    2 issues with android app

Phone: Samsung Galaxy Note 9 512GB
    Rooted: no
    Android Version: 9

    1st issue
I receive the error message "Encountered Network Error During Playback" while trying to watch downloaded content.
The problem varies depending on if it's movie ot TV shows downloaded. I usually notice the problem as early as 10 movies downloaded to 10-15 movies and TV shows mixed. Once this happens the only way to fix it is to. Remove all content and reinstall Vudu. If I delete the content there is a 50% chance I will be able to stream the content.

    2nd issue
The only way I can download on my home Wi-Fi is by going into the Vudu app and disabling the"Download only on Wi-Fi" setting. I also have to go into the phone settings->App->Vudu->Mobile Data->Allow app while data saver on and enable the setting. I do not have data saver turned on. I have Gigabit internet and this is the only app I have issues with on my home Wi-Fi. The app is also unusable on my 5GHz W-Fi.

I see the same Issue #1 you listed on my Samsung S7 with latest update System Update 29. I get that network check when the phone is in Airplane mode. So, it?s obviously a bug in the app searching for something on a network connection. And it?s random. Some movies will play, others will not. It?s like a pointer check to last spot played. And, yes. Tried totally un-install/re-install to no avail., You just lose all your content. And, then I also learned that if you log out of Vudu App on android and log in, my content was all gone. I guess it resets the app.

For issue #2. The only thing I saw is the downloads take forever. It looks like some throttle on it even over WiFi. It takes an hour+ for 1 SD movie to come down on WiFi. I can?t imagine it on 4G. If you turn that off and do cellular. It?s literally an 8 hr mission to download 4 SD movies at the speed it seems to serve at. Streaming seems ok though, so maybe it downloads at speed of movie streaming. 2 hrs per SD? Ha.

My primary use for download is offline, airplane mode or remote areas where streaming is not the way to go. So I do depend on the download content. It is a nice feature of Vudu but for some reason not working on latest update of Android.

Phone Samsung S7. No Root, stock. System 29 on Verizon. Do use SD Card for storage.

I have a Samsung Note 8. I use the downloaded content primarily on an airplane. It used to work just fine. I can download and playback even if I turn off wifi and place the phone in airplane mode (as long as I am on the ground). I can't get playback to work when I'm actually on the airplane!
