In order to play Vudu movies online using Linux, I installed the latest version of Google Chrome available to me, then I used SD definition to play the Vudu movies in Chrome. Also, for the movies I tried, I was able to watch with Flash uninstalled.

At the time I wrote this post I was using Google Chrome version 71.0.3578.80 (Official Build) (64-bit) to play Vudu movies online, while running the Linux version named Ubuntu 16.04.5 LTS 64-bit, with Linux kernel 4.15.0-42-generic x86_64.

They had better come up with a plan soon. Flash is not just insecure and largely unsupported, Adobe just announced that they are going to "end-of-life" Flash in 2020. That means more and more browsers will drop support or even block it. Lots of users have already done so, since we knew it was insecure before Adobe acknowledged it.

This is your second post, the thread starter was your first. New users are always moderated until they can make sure they're not spammers. (I actually set that system up for them back when they used volunteer moderators.)

I'll second this. There is zero reason why we shouldn't be able to watch our stuff on a Linux operating system. I absolutely despise Windows and cannot afford a Mac.

    Linux Support?

I choose to switch operating systems last night, and my vudu has about, oh.. 100 some odd movies and TV shows in it which I now can't access via the web, because there is no play button anymore.

I know this isn't an issue of some DRM getting in the way, because trailers and even my extras for said Movies and TV shows, come up fine.

So, tech support, is there some reason you are blocking the user agents of linux based machines? Especially those of us who are running DRM enabled clients like Firefox and Chrome? Netflix got off their highhorse and fixed us. Hulu got off their higher horses and did right by us. Would you mind fixing your interface and re-enabling our play button, so we can watch the products we paid for through your service, please?

    K, thx.
