    UI Improvements

I think the photos next to the cast and crew need to go. If possible have a page dedicated to each actor and director with more bio info and the filmography and put the photo there.

In the movie browsing view the photos take up too much space. There should be more text. Cast and crew could still be clickable to find other movies they are credited in, it would just be a text link.

You could always make an exception for Mena Suvari.

Need to go? Exactly how are they bothering you? Removing them wouldn't give you enough room for any more meaningful text. Remember, a picture is worth a thousand words. I strongly disagree that they should be removed. I like having the picture as it frequently helps me put the name to a face. I wish they were there for 100% of the actors.

I'm with redwein, I like having the photos as well.

Now I do agree I would like more information when selecting on a cast / crew member, other than just their list of movies that they have performed in.

I like them myself. I click on them all the time to find additional movies...probably much moreso than if there were just the names typed out without pictures.

Cast and crew photos should stay. I find it very interesting some times to match the picture with the name as I'm not up on a lot of who is who in Hollywood. I know the biggies but not some of the smaller ones. It's also interesting to be able to see how they've aged or how they look different w/o the makeup on, etc. I wish there were more pictures for the cast and not so many silhouettes.

I proberbly could have worded that better! It's the empty photos that were really bugging me, happens a lot for smaller films.

I agree. The suggestion is to just move them to a dedicated page for the actor/actress.

The UI is a very cool feature in Vudu, I'm sure it will continue to evolve.

Yes. I don't like that there are blank ones. Assuming they did have them for all/most of the people, I still like them where they are as opposed to having to go to a separate page for the person. Of course it could be a higher resolution image on the person's info page though. That would be good.

It's the agency that provides the headshots that doesn't have them all. The new HD search function in Tivo has a similar problem...

How about if the Vudu substituted popular cartoon character head shots for the missing people? I'm thinking Roger and Jessica Rabbit would improve the look of those empty fields...
