Activated VUDU enabled device owner transfer?

Hi, was wondering if I need do anything before giving a LG Smart TV upgrader to my son.

I just purchased and hooked up to insure it had no issues, used the VUDU credit to test drive the feature. happy to say both the service and box performed flawlessly.

Do I need do anything before passing it on, or will he simply need to hook up and setup his account via the the Device's embedded VUDU app, he resides in another state if that matters.

    thanks and advance

You should be able to deactivate the device from the device menu. From there just have him create his new account and he should be good to go.

Thanks, it appears I do not have the option in the menus, and I apologize for posting essentially the same question again in the context of un-provisoning the device after seeing that discussion..thought this post did not post, and caught that new member posts must be approved with said second post.

So would un-provisoning be in order? or....
      Thanks Again

Thank You, I found nothing within the devices VUDU app to un-register the device, it is LG's ST600 Smart TV Upgrader.

Son would not be arriving till after the return window, so had to test the device for issues.. used the VUDU credit, to test VUDU..did the email/pass when prompted, that is as far as I took it, have not set up a payment method or anything.

Can you sunder my connection with this nifty little box on your end so when he gets it back home he can set up his account with VUDU??

And would just like to say am very happy with the quality of VUDU, both with my LG TV which has Smart TV formerly Netcast, and on the little box deal we are discussing... Netflix, YouTube often stutter, hiccup, pix elate and with VUDU saw none of that, was like was watching a Blue Ray in a player, if I had a Blueray heh...was nothing short of perfect.

I thank You yet again Good Sir or Madame, just can't tell in these here forums and no wish to offend.

I can deactivate the device, can you send me the email address (in a privated message) you used to create your account?
