    Ultraviolet Membership

    So I've been looking through all the documentation and can't find an answer to this. Ultraviolet lets me have 6 members in my UV account. So I thought perfect. Everyone gets a membership with my primary UV account that i control, but I recently read online that VUDU only allows for two accounts to be connected to each UV account. Since each member has a VUDU account how can the other 4 members have any use of the UV membership feature through vudu...especially since most of my movies are not showing up in flixster because its D2D? Shouldn't VUDU allow 6 VUDU members per UV membership account so that each rightfully granted member can access the movies that we own....

    Re: Ultraviolet Membership

    1. Create a UV account that you're the main member of
    2. Add members to your group by creating logins for them, each one will have their own login but show in your group and can add UV movies as they please. There is an "add member" button on the "our account" page. On this page is where you are basically creating individual UV user accounts under your account. These accounts our full regular accounts that the user can do whatever they want with, but they are just linked to share your movies. Kind of like Windows User Accounts or one desktop and installing apps to share with each person.
    3. Each member creates their own vudu account through vudu.com
    4. Everyone links their vudu account with their individual uv account that you setup for them
    5. Everyone has access to the pool of UV movies through Vudu/flixster etc...

    Each vudu member can only be logged twice at the same time with one login. For example, two people in separate rooms. This is null when each UV member has their own vudu account.

          This is actually one part that I am unclear about... it does state that 2 Vudu accounts can be connected to one UV Account, but I have been unsuccessful in accomplishing this. Whenever a second account is connected, the first account is then disconnected. Is this information incorrect?

            Re: Ultraviolet Membership

            Looks like only two members of the UV account can access a movie at time. Even if just 2 members are logged in it appears to restrict access to the other 4 members to watch a movie. Atleast this is what is occuring for me. So basically you only get two accounts...I wish someone from VUDU would advise on this matter...

              Re: Ultraviolet Membership

              You are getting your information wrong.

              Vudu = Devices
              UV = People

              UV = 6 People
              Vudu = 5 Devices

              Vudu = only 2 Devices at a time (Per account)

              If you have 6 people, then in theory you can have 12 devices on at one time (2 per account). Vudu is against account sharing and you should be wise on stating that you are doing so. Accounts should only be shared on devices within your house.

              Legitimate #1 Vudu Account:
              Device 1) Your Xbox
              Device 2) computer
              Device 3) little brothers PS3
              Device 4) Your TV
              Device 5) -------

              Illegal #2 Vudu Account:
              Device 1) Your PS3
              Device 2) Bob from Accounting
              Device 3) Little Debbie from down the street
              Device 4) Jerry in Hong Kong
              Device 5) Susie (your girlfriend)

              You are only allowed 6 people on your Ultraviolet account, not 30 (6 people X 5 Devices). I would REALLY tread carefully as I have heard of Vudu banning some people from not following their TOS and removing all movies. =X

                That's why I'm asking the question...the details are somewhat confusing/vague and the consequences severe should I lose my movies.
