    Black Friday/Cyber Monday 2013 Sale?

I understand that Vudu had some Black Friday discounts last year, although I gather that they didn't rival some of the killer in-store sales you often see. I'd love a break on seasons of The Walking Dead and Big Bang Theory, and perhaps some movies.

Do any of our friendly Vudu representatives care to comment on the possibility of a sale?

I felt it was very "meh". The only thing I picked up was Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone - Extended Edition, and that's because it's the only one of the series I don't own in any format. Everything else I either already had (and would be cheaper for me to D2D), was too high for me to care (I'd pick up Warm Bodies if it was $4.99), or looked terrible (Fire With Fire).

Same here...those that are good I already own. Everything else was, in my opinion, not worth having or priced too high (be sure to shop around guys!). About the only titles we are looking for are those from MGM and Disney.

I purchased "The Collection" because I thought is was good for $4.99.

Dammit! Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 1 is on sale. That's one of the discs I haven't been able to convert. But now I have to decide whether to wait and see if it's fixed or pay more for it now...

I know what you mean. I bought a few movies from Amazon and iTunes waiting on them to come to D2D on Vudu. I have also bought a few on the home D2D thinking I wouldn't get to 10 for a long time only to find out I had a few more later that would have brought me to 10. I now have 5 on the home D2D so I'm currently waiting to do another 5 to make the 10 50% off special.

Wasn't part of the Black Friday, but there have been price breaks on The Big Bang Theory for Cyber Monday. I picked up Seasons 3 and 4 b/c they're not UV. I already had 1, 2, 5 and 6 thru UV. They were $25 each.

I missed this sale. You would think that Vudu would have sent emails out to customers to promote this. I would have bought a few titles.

I opted-in for the newsletters many months ago, but I never get any emails. I do get responses from support when I have sent them a request/issue, so I know they have the right email address.
