    Please Respond.

Vudu Disc to Digital is not, and has not been working for a while, yet it is still advertised.

    Many have blank screens.

We have been told, that until this is fixed, to take our movies to a Wal-Mart photo lab, and they will upload.

Every Wal Mart, every photo lab, every store Manger (THE MAIN MANAGER) has no idea what I am talking about.

    Here is the options:

    1. Disc to Digital is no longer available. And will never be available again. Quit trying, quit crying, it is over.
    2. Disc to Digital has an issue, and will be back up in...... (Give time here)

DO NOT TELL US TO GO TO WAL MART BECAUSE THEY HAVE NO IDEA WHAT YOUR ARE TALKING ABOUT. AND IT IS A WASTE OF OUR TIME!

Now, please, give us an answer!

    Re: Please Respond.

    Hey mt6617,
I literally got the same response from Vudu. I have the black screen on my only computer with a bluray player, so then I can't convert my blu rays. I attempt to take them to Walmart and no one knows what I'm talking about. I contacted Vudu and explained the problem, hopefully to receive some slight solution; all I got was to take my movies to Walmart. This infuriated me because it's not that simple. I would, but they can't help.

I'm thinking of doing Flixster's version, but I wonder if the films will transfer and if they would transfer HDX. Anyone know? I'm simply shocked that Vudu is aware of all of us having problems, but this doesn't seem like a priority. Or they haven't provided us with some form of explanation.

I'm hoping they find a solution.

I know this is not really helpful, but my D2D still works fine. I converted a bunch just the other day.

The answer is, if you are given this answer at a Walmart store, call 1-800-Walmart and report them because they should know how to do it.

There was a brief glitch during the Fuji upgrade, but D2D is working in stores again. They are supposed to know how to do it. If they don't, it's on them and Walmart needs to know in order to have the employees trained.

In-store Disc-to-digital has had lots of problems for me since about October. However, the in-home D2D still works just fine, whether for Blu-rays or DVDs.

Well.... I can't figure it out. It still does not work as of tonight.

I have deleted VUDUtoGO and downloaded it again. Still does not work. Just a black screen.

I have called 1-800 Wal Mart, that is when the Manger of the store called me back and said they have no idea what I am speaking of.

For those that it is working for.... are you using VUDUtoGO? If it is my dumb mistake, I will be more than happy! Lot easier to fix what I am than doing that what they are or are not doing!

As far as I know D2D is still in beta and has been for 2+ years. When it works, its fabulous, however, there can be problems when trying to convert 20+ titles at one time (even less). I do know that when you go to WAL-Mart and to the photo kiosk/department, which you must in order to resolve the issue and convert your titles, that the associate helping you can call VUDU customer service at 1-888-554-VUDU and a technical support agent will walk them through the D2D process step-by-step. Many times, the WAL-Mart associates are not trained properly, if at all, in this procedure and would rather just say they dont know what you're talking about, but they CAN call VUDU cs. I hope this is of assistance to you and please let me know if this works. D2D is a fabulous service but sometimes it can have some hiccups.
