Has this been fixed yet? I am planning on purchasing the UHD version, but not receiving UHD UV rights will be a deal-breaker. You should get what you pay for in your UV locker if the title is UV eligible. That's just common sense.

If this is intentional on Paramount's part and I was VUDU, I would be aggressively knocking on their door to convince them otherwise. If it's accidental and I was VUDU, I would be aggressively making an effort to find the source of the problem and do my part to get it fixed as quickly as possible.

I don't think this has been fixed, mine is still HD.

Any updates from Vudu on the status of this? Thanks for any information you can provide, or for getting it fixed if you're able to do that.

I'll have someone ask the studio if they will allow UHD UV rights for UHD purchases. I'll get back to you all once I hear back from them.

Paramont said HD UV rights for UHD EST purchases, no UHD I'm afraid.

FelipeF Can you elaborate on what EST means? I am confused. Is it this? Electronic sell-through (EST) https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Electronic_sell-through If it's Electronic Sell-Through I get it. It should still be specified by Vudu that one won't be receiving UV copy in UHD prior to purchase.

He is referring to a digital copy.

In short, if you purchase a UHD copy from Vudu, you do NOT get a UHD UV entitlement.

I understand that the studio is the one that is not letting Vudu sell the UHD UV copy, but if Vudu is going to advertise UHD UV on its site, it needs to be clearly called out on the item page. Otherwise, it is pretty clearly a bait-and-switch.

Advertising UHD UV and delivering HD UV is not fair to the consumer. All it would take to clear up the confusion is a little note on the product page that says "UHD purchases do NOT include UHD UV rights" or something similar.

I agree, I wouldn't have an issue of UHD not having UV rights if it was specified on the page, otherwise there is nothing indicating that the UHD doesn't include UHD rights.
