If you look at it that way, UV doesn't support anything as there is no direct UV playback app. Can't even check a code on the UV site anymore. Everything UV is done thru partners.

I do look at it that way, and I totally agree. UV supports nothing directly and only through partners. The only pseudo direct support for UV is ownership tagging of the title and definition. The same is true of MA except of course you can watch HD through their app.

Does this also apply to previous purchases? My license has remained HD despite UHD purchase.

Hi FelipeF, I purchased the bundle with all three Hotel Transylvania films (prts 1,2 & 3) in UHD but the UHD licenses are not porting over to my UV account. Can you take a look at that when you get a chance?

EDIT: UHD UV rights just ported in. If that was because of you FelipeF, thank you!

My UHD purchase from before UHD UV rights were added still hasn't updated to UHD in my UV locker.

I just purchased the bundle and can report that Hotel Transylvania 1 and Hotel Transylvania 2 ported UHD to UV locker. The only thing that concerns me is that Hotel Transylvania 3 shows up with SD and HDX option only when you go to that movie specifically; hopefully that movie is in UHD when it's released since I purchased a UHD bundle and expect to get that movie in UHD when it's released. Also crossing my fingers and hope that Hotel Transylvania 3 gets UV status; it's currently only MA.

You should now have UHD rights in your UV locker.

Quick question for the moderators (maybe FelipeF can answer this):

Will the UV rights for Hotel Transylvania 3 drop into my UV locker next Tuesday (09/25) when the movie is officially released or should they be there now?

I ask because when I first purchased the 4K UHD bundle back in June I needed assistance from FelipeF to push the UV rights out to my account for the first two movies and now I'm wondering if it's the same issue with the third movie.

No idea to be honest, totally up to the studio to provide the UV rights (ALID) for this title.

It already has both a UV and MA logo on the title. It has not yet been released so maybe that's why it's not in the UV locker at this time.

Cool, thanks for the response. I guess we'll just have to wait and see what happens next Tuesday. The movie does show the UV already so here's to hoping it drops in next Tuesday.
