I love that we can now pre-order Mission Impossible: Fallout in 4K but still can't get Rogue Nation in 4K on here.

Lol. I just checked Vudu to see if this was 4K yet 5 minutes ago. It's turning into an everyday routine. I'm still so confused how the first 4 are and Rogue Nation is not. I'll just watch on iTunes - like the rest of the digital community is leaning towards when it comes to 4K. Just don't understand.

I don't understand it either. This complacency is alienating customers and pushing them to iTunes. I'm considering it more and more all the time, and have made more purchases with them recently than ever before. They just don't seem to understand that you can't leave problems like this dangling out there forever and expect customers to just "take it". It's rude and completely uncalled for...as is the relative ease with which forum moderators ignore most of the calls for assistance on these forums, particularly with regard to issues that seem as if they would require just a small amount of effort to be properly resolved.

Unfortunately, we cannot resolve all issues reported on this forum with relative ease. Yes, some things can be resolved with a click of a button but the vast majority of these issues require troubleshooting and collecting the necessary information so that our engineers and developers can begin to investigate. Acquiring new content encodes can sometimes take a long time due to factors that we are not a liberty to disclose. As for the moderators "ignoring" posts, please refer to the guidelines for this forum located at the top of the page.

I'm quite certain that not every issue is simply fixed / resolved, but it doesn't reflect well when e-mail advertising is sent out showing a film is available in 4K only for it not to be well after the sale has begun. I could easily be wrong and complacency is not the reason, but it does not reflect well on Vudu either way.

I'm not sure what I'm supposed to get from the forum guidelines other than, "Vudu reserves the right to refrain from posting." I understand that you can't reply to each person. However, those same guidelines state, "the primary purpose of these forums is to help Vudu customers with questions and/or problems with their VUDU service." That doesn't seem as if it happens enough without having to create individual customer support requests that, to be honest, don't always resolve a problematic situation (see my own customer support history concerning The Man Who Fell to Earth SD/HD MD2D debacle, that after well over a year still hasn't been fixed by either VUDU or Ultraviolet. SD UV rights continue to be incorrectly awarded to users to this day.). If these forums fail to provide some type of regular assistance with regard to basic issues, they have lost their way. See the Lean on Pete thread with regard to Lionsgate titles advertising UV that fail to yield appropriate UV rights through Vudu. That seems as if it would be easy to look into / correct, but there are films / tv seasons since at least April that have failed to be tagged as UV @ VUDU, and no one has done anything in all of that time. It might not be an easy fix, but enough time has been available to have done so.

The good news is, is that Vudu just added Rogue Nation in 4K with Dolby Vision. Took long enough but at least we can now have the whole series in 4K.

Bad news is that it doesn't redeem in UHD. It's currently redeeming in HD.

Does anyone know if Vudu has fixed the redeem for Mission Impossible: Rogue Nation UHD yet? Last I heard it wasn't redeeming UHD? Some people posted that it was HD at first and then UHD, but it was never clear to me if those were port-ins from redeems elswhere, or from Vudu redeems. Does it redeem UHD on Vudu yet? Does it port to UV locker in UHD from Vudu redeem?

I redeemed it on Paramount's site when I got it awhile back, It went UHD in my UV locker, UHD on Fandango right away. And finally UHD on vudu the other day.

Vudu has not fixed this issue. I just attempted to redeem mine and it burned the code. Also did the same thing to my Dredd 4K code as well. Vudu redemptions have not been kind to me today.

Here I am again, like many others, checking if this has been fixed, and I'm still not sure what the status is. I do not want to burn my code and have it redeem in HDX. Vudu, has the redeem for Mission Impossible: Rogue Nation UHD been fixed so that it redeems for the UHD copy in Vudu and ports to UV locker in UHD?

My code redeemed as HDX. Of course the other two M:I movies I bought redeemed in UHD. I attempted to contact Vudu support and only received canned copy & paste responses. Is there any way to release the code so I can redeem in UHD on a functioning website (like Paramount or Fandango Now)?

Any updates on this? It's weird that codes are redeeming HD at VUDU when the rest redeem in UHD.
