102 Dalmations NOT linked from DMA??

I own 102 Dalmations on Disney Movies Anywhere (DMA). Initially, this DMA movie was properly linked and shown as owned in my Vudu collection. However, I just noticed that it is no longer shown as owned on Vudu. All of my other DMA movies are property linked, but not this one. I sent an email to Vudu Support, but I'm wondering if anyone else has this same specific problem. Does someone else own this movie on DMA? Does it show as owned or not on Vudu?

I also own the 102 Dalmations and have the same issue. Occassionaly it will reappear. For example when I purchase a Disney movie from VUDU during the sync the 102 Dalmations is added. However on the very next sync it is removed. I believe this is happening because VUDU is only offering the movie in SD and my DMA movie is HD. I also have another Disney title with the exact same situation.

Thanks for letting me know. I believe you are right that it is related to the HD/SD issue. I originally purchased it on iTunes in HD, which then of course links to DMA, and then is supposed to link to Vudu. I purchased several other DMA movies on iTunes that are linked to Vudu just fine, but all of them are available in HD on Vudu.

We really should be getting these in SD on Vudu though. We'll see if Vudu fixes it.

If you two could get cases started, I'll have our team look into the issue to see if there is anything we can do to resolve it on our end.

Hi DanielH, I did start a case (Ref. # 150310-000646) and the response I received today is not really a solution. They said to unlink and relink DMA, but this isn't going to change anything because all of my other DMA movies are linked to Vudu just fine (all the ones available in HD on Vudu). Support said if this doesn't work, then go to Disney support for help in figuring it out. I don't see how this is an issue on Disney's end since it shows up there in HD just fine.

I know what the best solution is: Vudu needs to make the movie available in HD and then it will link up just fine! (I know this is easier said than done).

Thanks for checking in on the issue. Let me know if I should keep working with Vudu support on it or if there is a solution that can be shared with us all.

I had issues with DMA when it first launched. Many titles didn't port over. I contacted Disney and they worked with me until the issue was resolved. It could be an issue on their end...never discount that. Then again, all the movies I had were available on Vudu in HDx so the SD could be throwing a monkey wrench into the mix.

I snagged the case and am trying to get some feedback on the issue. I'll keep you posted.

Dan I had the same issue with Disney's Three musketeers live action. Back when the Vudu/Dma link started. Vudu added the HDX version and it stopped the issue from repeeting anymore

DanielH, I am seeing the same issue with a few movies! Should I open a case?

I have 3 HD DMA movies importing to vudu in SD quality that keep vanishing...

The following 2 almost never show up as owned, sometimes briefly after a new DMA movie is added:

                  One Little Indian
                  http://www.vudu.com/movies/#!content...-Little-Indian

                  Condorman
                  http://www.vudu.com/movies/#!content/13149/Condorman
(this movie looks horrible by the way, the video is all stretched out, maybe the content team could fix this one? Maybe they could also look at Trenchcoat which has the video in a small window with black bars on all 4 sides?)

For some reason this one appears as owned more frequently, usually when the other two aren't, I'm not sure what the difference is:

                  Rascal
                  http://www.vudu.com/movies/#!content/26113/Rascal

                  Thank you!

                      Thank you DanielH!

                      The case is #150318-000899

Upon further examination... it doesn't seem to be random:

Whenever I add a new DMA movie the status of those 3 movies seems to flip.

Before I added my last DMA movie, Rascal showed as owned, and Condorman and One Little Indian were available to purchase.

When I added my last DMA movie, Condorman and One Little Indian switched to owned and Rascal is now available for purchase.

For me it is only affecting titles I have HD rights to that vudu has in SD quality only.

                      Hope that helps

                        This seems to be fixed!

As of my last few DMA movie adds, all 3 of the problem movies that I have HD DMA rights to that vudu only has in SD are not disappearing anymore.

                        Thank you very much!

The only thing that would make this EVEN better is if you could fix the stretched video on Condorman

It must not be completely fixed because I'm still not seeing 102 Dalmations in my collection.

You should be seeing 102 Dalmatians as it was upgraded to HDX and would no longer be affected by this issue.

My missing movies did not show up until a new movie imported via DMA (relinking may have the same effect).

I thought this might not be fixed since one of the SD movies vanished again, but it showed back up about 15 minutes later.

edit: The same movie has vanished again...

edit: And it is back again...

edit: And it is gone again...

edit: 90 minutes later everything finished importing from DMA (servers probably overwhelmed from Star Wars pre-orders) and all the SD movies that were prone to vanishing are still there! So I guess everything is still good
