    Back To School Sale

    Hi

I had two questions, first is there a chance The Looney Tunes Show: Season 1 could be made available for purchase, rather than just individual episodes. There seems to be one episode that isn't available for purchase separately, and that's where the dilemma is. I checked other digital retailers, and they are all available as both individual and season purchase options. Season 2 is available on Vudu for purchase as a season, so that one is fine.

Also, Legally Blondes states that the HDX version is on sale for 9.99, but seems to only have an HD purchase option, HDX rental. Could both of these issues please be fixed? Thank you so much.

Also, season 2 also has one episode unavailable for purchase individually, but still allows you to access it through season purchase which is fine. It's just bizarre how season 1 gives you no option to own the season asa whole or all episodes individually, even though everything is listed. The series is supposed to be on sale this week, so hopefully season 1 is resolved. :/

      Re: Back To School Sale

One of the biggest frustrations about Vudu and digital movies in general is the lack of support of television programs and this "sale" is a great example. Why would I buy a SD version of Thundercats season 1 vol. 1 for the "discounted" price of $19.99, when I can get the DVD set on Amazon for $10.99? $19.99 is probably a little high for an HD version of a title like this, if it was available. Television seasons are often vastly over-priced and the sales rarely offer little incentive to purchase them. Plus, the lack of UV support of many series leaves customers wary of spending the money, especially when the majority of those programs are available from other streaming providers, and show little chance of going away. I know that this is not totally Vudu's doing and that the studios set prices, but I wish that there was more effort to lower the prices to correspond with the prices of the physical media.

Being a huge fan of Scooby Doo when I was growing up I bought season 2-5 of Scooby Doo & Scrappy Doo since they aren't available on DVD...at least not yet anyway. I'll eventually get around to buying season 1 but for some reason season 1 isn't included in the sale. It's been $25 for a while now. Plus season 1 is on DVD, so I'll wait a bit to get it on VUDU.

Looney Tunes Show season 1 has not been purchaseable as long as I have been checking it, starting around fall of 2014. I would never consider buying season 2 without being able to get season 1, so I gave up and got it at another retailer.

Unsure why an issue like this would persist for such a long time, but I can't imagine a fan of any show who would make a purchase without being able to buy season 1

I noticed this too... season 1 is reasonably priced on dvd, I saw it in walmart for about $14 and change, would be nice if the digital version was similarly priced.

I checked the 2 minute samples, and the video quality on Scooby Doo & Scrappy Doo season 1 is great, the video is 24p

Unfortunately, season 2 through 5 all have deinterlaced video at 29.97fps (you can tell since your tv will sync at 1080i instead of 1080p24)

FelipeF, could you check if season pricing could become available for The Looney Tunes Show Season 1? I purchased season 2, but I'd definitely love to own both on Vudu instead of just iTunes. You seem to make miracles happen haha, I appreciate all your help.

I wish I could make miracles happen! In reality, we are still waiting on the studio for the closed captioning files for this title. Once, we receive them, I'm sure we can turn on season pricing.
