    Big Bang Theory Season 8 Digital HD code gives SD copy on Vudu?

    Anyone else have a problem with this redeeming as SD instead of HD. I put in a ticket (#150919-001047). Hopefully it will get fixed soon. I don't think the DVD sets even come with a code.

        My experience with Vudu fixing issues when things don't redeem correctly is horrible. They make you take multiple upon multiple pictures. I even had them tell me after 2 replies of asking for more pictures that they wanted even more! I was running out of ways to photograph the disc! However ... let me tell you this ... FLIXSTER has excellent customer service !!! Flixster will not ask for multiple pictures and can look up your code and they will know right away if it is HD or SD ! They dont ask for endless pictures and make you feel like your bothering them to fix the issue and they fix it right away not days or weeks latter like Vudu ... even if you did not redeem with Flixster they will STILL help you !! That is why I try to redeem now on Flixster if at all possible as they will fix it right away! Why redeem with Vudu if you dont have to its not worth the hassle if you ask me.

          Flixster is part of Warner Brothers. Since they are a movie studio, they don't have to ask themselves permission to fix UV codes issues. From what I have gathered, Vudu needs to ask the studios to fix their ALID/code issues on their end, thus taking longer for a resolution. I guess it all depends on how big of a role movies play into your lives.

            I actually told them I wouldn't send any more pics and asked them to send the multiple pics I had sent to the promotions department (a pic of the code sheet and the actual blu ray set). They did and it was fixed within a day.

            My main issue with the pics was that the DVD set to my knowledge does not contain a UV code. Only the blu ray set (please correct me if I am wrong). Why the need for all the pics if a SD code does not exist?

              I always assumed that it was to prove you actually owned the discs, and didn't just take a picture of them in the store or use an image from an etailer.

                I think that is true. I had to do multiple pics once to and that is the impression that I got as well.

                  I agree, but I had already sent multiple pics including a shot of the blu ray set and code sheet. I had actually sent the pictures they specifically asked for but then they asked for more.
