Apple TV app, Version 1.7, released 2020-06-30

    Hello, fellow travelers.
Is this the beginning of The Comcast Experience? (Note the capitalization.)

This client was just released, and it seems the Apple TV experience is going backwards.
    Let me count the ways.
    1. No connection to the Apple ecosystem.
Admittedly, this could have been imposed on VUDU by Apple, Inc.
    2. No side menus.
Now, we're presented with three giant categories under MY VUDU:
      My Movies
      My TV
      My Wishlist
    3. An Amazon Prime-like linear presentation
Watch to see your whole catalog?
Scroll to the end of the linear presentation before seeing the prompt "See all...".
    4. No Lists
    Whose idea was this?
Version 1.6 was better than this!

    Want some UI ideas?
Take a look at some of the other VUDU client implementations.
Take a look at Hulu, Disney+.
    Don't mimic Amazon Prime.

I'm now going to unplug the Apple TV and plug in the NVIDIA Shield.
Let's see what damage Comcast/Fandango has done to the Android TV client.

I agree. I prefer the prior UI over this one. This one takes longer to get to all of your titles. Also, why aren't My Lists included? There have been at least 2 updates and this has not been added.

I saw that someone mentioned that it looks more like the FandangoNow app and it really does.

      463 UHD
      761 HDX
      4 SD

Yes, the new app is worse. Please add more features to this app. Start with lists, a restart button, and sorting by genre, studio, rating, and decade.

You are making it easy to go back to iTunes to purchase my movies.

I've recently been enjoying some of the updates, especially the auto play. I don't mind the most recent update, I like how more movies fit in rows, but I don't think they have to be so small. Also, I hate how you have to scroll to the Show All to see all my movies.

          1. Why don't we have lists? It would be perfect to incorporate in the My Vudu option
          2. We still need images in the chapter lists so we know where to select the scene. Numbers don't tell us a specific part of the film.
          3. Can we get the episodes of our seasons to look like our iPhones with a small image/preview?
          4. Connect Vudu into the Apple TV ecosystem (this is probably more an Apple call)
          5. Yes, stay away from what Amazon does with their Apple TV app. It's unbelievably embarrassing and ancient.

I opened my Vudu app on my Apple TV tonight, and the list feature was there. Thanks, Vudu for making this happen.
