Vudu Network Down?!

    Vudu Network Down?!

    I rebooted my router twice before I tested the connection and it reported the vudu connection failed. I hope they make their network more robust in the future. I'd hate to have that happen towards the end of a movie

    Please post your system ID with this type of trouble report, along with the time (including timezone) you experienced it. From my perspective the Vudu network was not down, so we need more information.

      It might be down. Several new users are reporting issues with their boxes downloading firmware.

          The servers and network are fine. I've just spent some time checking them. Please PM me your box ID and the time when you experienced these problems, plus any other details that you can think of.

            I had an issue last night where the box was in a network down or internet connection off state... I just reset my router and after about 10 minutes, the box came back online. I was not using my box, so am not sure if it was a network issue or a router issue on my end... also unsure as to how long the red (right) status light was on. If it was a network issue, everything seems to be fine this morning.

              My network is up, but I get an error message when running the network test. Home network, internet pass, vudu connection fails with unexpected connection to server error. Still down this morning. I sent all details to Vudu.

                Stop saying that the servers are not down. Your servers are not working with your customers. You can call it what you want, but we can't all be wrong. The problem is on the Vudu side. Acknowledge it!

                    Please remember that all discussion must be civil and respectful of other members. We understand your frustration, but you may not take it out on other forum members. That goes for all members, whether they are newcomers, VUDU staff, or moderators.

                    I've had a green light all last night and today whenever I checked, so the problem does not seem to be as clear as you think. Have you contacted John or Tin with the information they requested?

                          I'm using comcast. But I'm also using a wireless bridge, and before that a wireless gaming adapter that was very unstable ....

                            I use a local company - Everest Communications with a wireless router as a bridge connected to VUDU with a CAT5 cable.
