New Roku App - Fix number of movies/shows we can see at one time

There was really nothing wrong with the old app. This new app sucks. Seriously? I can only see 5 movies or shows at a time? I have 2000+ movies. This is a scrolling nightmare. Not to mention how much slower it is.

True, it seems that Vudu went a step back with the new Vudu app. Also, a few seasons of "Game of Thrones" (seasons 1 and 8) are only showing in HDX rather than UHD which I own.

    712 UHD
    811 HDX
    5 SD

This does seem like a step backwards in functionality and experience for the sake of a different look.

HUGE step back. Takes 52 seconds on the splashscreen for me.... Awful..

I understand the 'want' to place the summary on the screen.. but at 60% of the screen realestate, barf.

Splash screen took forever for me on first boot. Subsequent have been much faster. I did think it was froze initially.

Interestingly after booting for first-time I got an email from Vudu that a new instance was activated. That Roku was already registered as was the Vudu app on that devices.

I just registered to come here and complain about this exact issue. It takes forever to scroll now and pauses. Horrible app.

Not only is the new format terrible but my UHD movies will only play in HDX. It says I purchased UHD (which I could play on the old format), but it only gives the option to play back in HDX or SD.

If you click on My Vudu, then the My Movies box at the top of the screen, you will get the list of your movies, plus the filters option.

I actually like the new design. Didn't even know we got one until I read this thread. I do think having only 5 movies for line is annoying when you have 1,000s to to scroll through.

Kind of hard to like it and find it annoying at the same time isn’t it ?

My purchases are only showing on one device. Has this happened to anyone else since they pushed this on us?

Tried both of my Roku Ultra’s (current gen) with several 4K movies and they all played in 4K fine.

Not sure what’s causing your issue.
