Disney Princess Sale - some titles not very "sale"

    MULAN 2 for $19.99 (HDX) ??

    LITTLE MERMAID 2 for $17.99 (HDX) ??

These don't feel like very sale prices?

VUDU - did we forget to put them on sale: Cinderella (2015), Little Mermaid II, Aladdin King of Thieves, Mulan II, and Pocahontas II aren't actually sale prices.

Yes, I don't know who's in charge of these sales but I often see a lot of TV season sales as well that aren't really sales at all.

    13 UHD
    754 HDX
    2 SD

Pretty much all the sequels don't have the Reduced Price icon on them.

Just a reminder that The Little Mermaid 1,2,3, Cinderella 1,2,3, Sleeping Beauty, and The Jungle Book (animated) are supposed to be heading back to the Disney Vault Oct. 17.

This just launched today, I believe. Like the monthly deals, it's not too rare that some titles aren't updated correctly. Hopefully this thread will help call that out for this sale.

Guys I think you're misreading this - this isn't a sale, it's just a storefront for Disney Princess titles, much like they have for Marvel and Star Wars (it says the Disney Princess COLLECTION not the Disney Princess SALE). Select titles happen to be on sale, and those are marked with an orange sale tag and are indeed are $14.99 for HDX.

Well - let's just say it's straight up confusing to have a "Disney Princess" sale page - and then list titles that are not included in the sale.

I can certainly understand the confusion, but in Vudu's defense, the banner does say "Save on select titles" and those select titles are highlighted with the sale banner. From what I've seen, the sequels are not on sale anywhere, just simply advertised alongside the originals on sale.

I'm sure it wouldn't be too difficult for the technical people to add a filter or a "Where" clause to remove the titles that are NOT on sale to remove any confusion.

But it's under the deals link. The Marvel and Star Wars storefronts are not under the deals link. But now they added a "Select Titles on Sale" disclaimer so it doesnt matter.

And they raised the price of Beauty and the Beast HDX to $19.99 which was on sale for $14.99 yesterday when this sale started.

What it comes down to for me is this - when you go to the grocery store, and some items are on sale, do you expect the store to segregate them into their own corner of the store or is seeing a "sale" sticker on an item commonly thought to be sufficient?

This is not a grocery store. This is a website that has a link clearly marked "deals" that segregates the sale items. You don't have to move product around on a website. What an ignorant comparison. And yes, Grocery Stores have endcaps that have their sale items. It was marked as a Princess sale and they have fixed it by adding the disclaimer. Stop making stupid comments.

Come on now, there's no need to get down in the dirt here. We're just having a friendly debate here and there's nothing wrong with people having different opinions, in this case about how Vudu should handle sales going forward...

As Rex likes to say, we're all just trying to help Vudu make a better product, and that benefits us all.

You're clearly trying to say everyone is wrong when clearly they had labeled it as a sale. Here's what it looked like before they added the disclaimer:

I'm not saying anyone's wrong at all. And I agree with you that it was initially labled as a sale.

I posted in this thread only to let everybody who might be waiting for prices to adjust down know that they weren't all on sale like they tought. I never disagreed that the way they initially advertised it was confusing. As a matter of fact it, it is that confusion that I came here to clear up.

My aim was only to be helpful. I'm sorry you are taking it the opposite way I intended.
