    Subtitles out of sync

    There are a lot of movies with the subtitles out of syn . Right now i am watching Moonfall and is out of sync.

      Was it totally wrong or just slightly misaligned? Do you have any other specific examples? I also use subtitles and a while back noticed a constant voice vs subtitle problem (slight lag between when someone spoke and when the subtitle showed up) but they seem to have made some improvements at some point (a thank you to them for that) and, while the synchronization is not always exact, it is now pretty good most of the time at least on the titles I have been watching recently. That said, I have noticed there are still some specific titles with more significant problems (like an episode of Colony s2 I watched the other day that was completely wrong, not just slightly; I don’t remember which one off hand but this also has happened in some other shows so it isn’t a unique problem). All that said, I wish they would do their subtitles the same as Netflix which are rock solid and display a lot better.

      To put this in context, I can hear but tend to often miss words here and there so do also need the subtitles. And when reading with listening it is very disturbing when they don’t line up, plus also of course with mouth movements, as well. So synchronization is very important to me. Plus I sometimes watch with a member of my family who can barely hear and so when that’s the case subtitles MUST be on.

      Anyway, if you have any other details or specific examples that would probably be helpful for them in fixing the problem. I should probably be making a list myself, as well.

        Sorry for the long time to reply. The problem is that the subtitles do not show up in sync. For example someone speaks and the subtitle shows up later or when the actor is speaking something else. I so annoying because sometimes the dialogue is so low in some movies.
