Purchase a Movie in UHD but the purchase shows it as SD

    Purchase a Movie in UHD but the purchase shows it as SD

    I purchased a movie that was the same price for UHD and the SD version. VUDU show I purchased the SD version, how do I get this fixed? Not sure why it says I did that, I never have purchased the wrong quality in the past. But now they are telling they will not upgrade it to the UHD version because their system says I purchased the SD version. So anyone that wants to purchase Super Mario Brothers, I would not unless they get this fixed!!! So I am out of luck according to them $30.00 for SD!!

    With Super Mario Bros, you don't get the option to pick which quality you buy. You just buy it flat out and get all three quality versions. Are you watching the movie on your computer? If so, browsers only stream in SD I believe. It changed a while back. I'm sure if you used a device like Roku or Firestick, it would show UHD.

      UHD/HDX playback is available on compatible devices. Web playback is available in HDX on Safari and Edge, and only SD on Chrome and Firefox.

        When you look at your account what resolution does it show you've purchased in purchase history?

        If it shows you've purchased UHD and you can only play SD then it is exactly as Wasteland states. You must use compatible hardware.

        If it shows you purchased SD than a call to customer service, while likely a long call, is in your best interest sooner rather than later. Request either a refund and then repurchase with correct resolution or maybe they can update your purchase.

          With Vudu's new purchase rollout, Mario can't be purchased in SD, purchase is only 1 option, at the highest quality, which is UHD, so they are obviously playing on a browser...

              True, but I never even seen Mario give that option, unless it didn't change for everyone at the time same time?

              But yeah, check your purchase history, it'll say which version you paid for.
