Where can I export my Vudu TV shows?

    Where can I export my Vudu TV shows?

    Vudu has decided to not let me have access to some of my imports from UltraViolet and is making me buy them again (if I want to watch them, if not, then no money required). Customer Service refuses to help, because they were imported. So my question is, where can I export my Vudu TV shows? I can use Movies Anywhere for the movies, but if they decide to limit my access to more of my TV shows, where can I export?

    Can you elaborate on what shows are missing? Regardless if these were imported or not, they should show up in your transaction history, and therefore you should have them in your Vudu library. Period.

    You may have to escalate the issue by responding back to that e-mail and just keep pushing the point.

      Right now it is only the TV series Nikita. The entire series imported and Vudu says I own the series. However, when I click on it, seasons 2-4 give the option to watch or buy from Vudu, while season 1 only gives the option to buy from Vudu or I can purchase each episode individually.
      When I first contacted customer service they told me I needed to connect my Movies Anywhere to make it work, which made no sense, and they are connected. I explained they came from UltraViolet and I can't re-connect that, because they closed. Then they tried to tell me because UV closed that I won't have access anymore, which also makes no sense.
      My concern is that they will do this to other imported shows.

        TV shows really got messed up with the closing of UltraViolet. I see similar BUY SEASON # on Falling Skies, but if I scroll down, I can select and play individual episodes. What happened was that as UV was shutting down, they marked individual episodes as being purchased on some seasons, and full seasons on others. Vudu shows that I own complete seasons 4 and 5, but all episodes individually on season 1-3 for Falling Skies.

        Like I suggested in my previous post, I think you just have to keep pushing customer care at Vudu on this issue, and possibly even call in and if the agent is just as unhelpful, escalate to a supervisor. If the supervisor is also unhelpful, then you need to either keep trying or face the fact that you may just have to write this off.

        Vudu is becoming more and more like the long-defunct CinemaNow every day.

          Don't look for the series by searching for it. Go to your tv shows. Put them in alphabetical order. Scroll down to the show. Sometimes studios will require the streaming services to start selling a different version. When that happens the version you own will still be in your library but the new version will show up in search and you don't own the new version. Any time a search for something you know you own shows as not owned go to your library and scroll to it.
