Why has it gone from “you own” to “you have”?

I noticed the titles in my library have gone from “You own HDX” to you “You have HDX”… anyone know why?

Probably because you never really "own" digital content. The studios are just lending or giving you the right to watch the content. These rights can't be transferred to given to someone else.

    935 UHD
    850 HDX
    4 SD

If Vudu wants to get "technical" then get rid of the made-up HDX term too.

Well, this is a holdover from Vudu's early days.
When I first signed up "HD" was used to denote 720p resolution.
        "HDX" was used for 1080p.
It may have been "made up" but at the time it was used to differentiate 2 different resolutions.
I still have one movie in my library that is labeled "HD" (Triangle from 2010).
Since Vudu discontinued 720p streaming, this title will only play in SD.
There is another version of this movie in "Free with ads" that plays in 1080p, but it is not able to be purchased.

I thought all HD were suppose to rollover to HDX when HD was phased out. Might be with contacting support.

That was true IF there was an HDX encode available. There isn't one for this release of Triangle.
Vudu refunded me a long time ago, but I still have the title that plays in SD.
The one I have was released by Alchemy Distribution, which went bankrupt.
Alchemy's successor, FilmRise, re-released it in 1080p but that version is only available with ads.
It is the only movie out of the 3500 in my library that is like this.

Glad to hear you were refunded. Sorry to hear you have access to the inferior version.
