Anyone else see a Disney 3D title show up in your owned movies?

Just added a few Mission Impossible UV redemption keys (on Fixster as I'm playing with redeeming according to the guidance of the redemption to see if it makes any difference on extra's or getting the standard and extended version vs. just one) and came to Vudu to ensure they were showing up. They were there but strangely showing up as added after the titles I just added was Captain America Winter Soldier 3D.

I have my DMA account linked and I do own the 3D Blu-ray version of every Disney/Marvel/Pixar title I have redeemed on the service but I've never had any pop up as such on VUDU (and wouldn't be surprised if Disney's codes don't even differentiate between 2D and 3D on their backend).

I'm assuming it is a one-off VUDU title-mapping glitch but was curious if anyone else has seen similar.

So I have suddenly got - Alice in Wonderland, Bolt, and Frankenweenie show up in my vudu as 3D. I do not own a 3D tv and even if I did I wouldn't want 3D movies (not a fan). The problem is that I used to have these 3 movies in HDX 2D but now they are gone, I "don't own" them anymore... So I essentially can't watch them on vudu now... They are 2D on DMA...so why has vudu decided that I now have to have the 3D versions?

Just unlinked and linked accounts. Got monsters University, Winter soldier and wreck-it Ralph 3D!

Tried it again. And lost them all.

          I now have both 2D & 3D. Sort A-Z & check your collection again.

Re: Anyone else see a Disney 3D title show up in your owned movies?

I like to have the 3D in my collection for completeness sake even though at the moment I don't have a use for it as I don't use streaming on my main 3D enabled TV, only the full bitrate blu-rays from my home server.

So I'm assuming that those of you who didn't want 3D didn't actually buy the 3D BR's. If that is corrected, it would confirm that it has nothing to do with a "is 3D" flag coming from DMA and everything to do with a VUDU mapping issue (which again, I'd love for all titles to be 3D enabled just like I think all versions of a movie should be enabled if you have the disc with the versions on them...)

Yup, I likewise had this happen this evening when I logged on. Three movies of mine swapped to 3D (Oz: The Great and Powerful, Monsters Inc and Wreck-It-Ralph). Oddly, only Monsters Inc has both the 2D and 3D versions while the others are ONLY shown in 3D currently. I submitted a support ticket to see if there was any additional info.

If it's available I always get the combo discs (3D/blu-ray/dvd/digital), like you - for completeness sake. So I'm fine with getting the 3D version added to my Vudu account, and I'm sure my family won't mind ...but I personally HAVE to have the option of watching it in 2D as wel, especially as I don't currently have a 3D tv.

Re: Anyone else see a Disney 3D title show up in your owned movies?

Yeah I had 6 movies show up, and took one 2d movies and switched it to 3d.

I contacted both Vudu and Disney Anywhere. According to both, Disney Anywhere just updated something in their system, and has caused some issues communicating between Vudu and Disney. They are working on it and will have things fixed as soon as they can.

I do not know that the 3d movies that was added on the 6th will be mine to keep or be taken away, Either way I want the Movie I had in 2D back in 2D at the least

I never lost the 2D version in my one-off but the 3D is gone as of this evening.

I noticed it the day it hit as well. I thought about bringing it up in the forum at the time, but if it was a glitch I didn't want to loose them since I always buy the 3D combo (as well) if it's available.

Obviously this is something Disney can turn on it they want, and perhaps this glitch is a precuser of whats the come.

In any case all the 3D DMA I gained are also gone now.

                          So sad.

I gained over six. I had zero before. I still have Oz the Great and Powerful.
